Charlie:
I made it to hell. I fell through the skies of hell and looked at the disgusting streets bellow. I landed with a thud. Why didn't I get wings? But I looked around, trying to find any sign of Maggie. Then I found it. Maggie's shoes. I picked them up and noticed how dirty they were. Was she safe?
As I walked around hell, for the first time ever, people stared at me as if I was an alien, or someone who had as many piercings that could fit on their face. I was terrified. Everything I thought was meant for sinners was here. I haven't ever seen anything so much like this. No matter what I saw, something scarier was next to it. Tattoo studio, piercing studio, A bar!!
Nothing made me feel good. Everything I saw made me want to throw up. I couldn't take any of it. I needed help. I walked up to who I thought was a nice looking lady. "Excuse me, has their been another fallen angel that walked by here?" I asked, but the rude sinner ignored me and took a shot. I kept asking around, but no one spoke to me. Everything was awful. I was in a new place and no one was respecting me or even the looking my way. Of course this is how it is though, its hell for crying out loud.
Hours after searching what I learnt to be the pride ring, I sat on the cleanest bench I could find. I felt like I was going to cry. I was tired, scared and upset. I put my head in my hands and tried to think. Which ring would Maggie go to? I felt like I search the whole of pride, when I barely searched half of pride. Maybe lust. But why would she want to go there? Envy? What would she have to be envious about? Sloth? She was lazy but not that lazy. Greed? She would love it there but wouldn't want to be there all the time. Gluttony? I wouldn't see her there eating all the time. Wrath? It would make sense but it isn't guaranteed. Nothing seemed to be right. I searched half of pride and she wasn't anywhere I looked. Maybe I should go to wrath next.
I stand and look for an entrance for the other rings of hell. I noticed hell-borns were going into a station. I walked in and went to the reception. "Excuse me, how do I get to the Wrath ring?"
"Train between the walls of the rings."
"Can I get one ticket?"
"Yea. Are you elderly?"
"No.""Hell-born?"
"No."
"Then it'll be 25 Deadman's coins."
"I'm an angel sent from heaven.""Oh, then it's free. Go straight through, the red and orange train goes to wrath."
"Thank you."I walk to the station with the red and orange train waiting. When I get there, and the steward saw me, he gestured me to follow him. I did and was led into a nice little coach, a first class, high end one. I sighed in relief at the thought of being treated so highly. But I couldn't rest now. The train starts and I sit back in my seat, thinking of the next step.
Maggie:
It was the morning after the crazy party. I was exhausted. And hung over again. Nugget was sleeping in her bed and I was laying on the couch again. Nothing seemed wrong. But the peaceful morning was rudely interrupted by banging on the door. I opened the door and saw Rosie without her key smile. "Hi, sorry to be here so randomly. But we have a problem."
"What is it?"
"You said you came by choice, breaking heavens rule and leaving. Well, one of my cannibals saw someone who looked like an angel, going around pride and searching for someone."
"Blond hair and icy blue eyes?"
"Yea."
"Fuck sake. That's my twin brother, Charlie. He's a pain in my ass."
"Yikes."
"Yea. Is there anything I can do to stay hidden?"
"The lady at the train station said he went to Wrath. So I can't send you there. But there is a meeting coming up. It's in lust and everyone wants you to come. You and Nugget that is."
"When is it?"
"In two days. I have a private train that we can take to lust and stay in the hotel for a while. So get Nugget and let's go."
"Right."I walk into the apartment and woke Nugget up. She was okay with leaving quickly. She packed and we walked down the building. Once on the street, we saw a carriage. Rosie was already sitting inside. We walked up to it and she motioned us inside. I smiled and stepped in first. Then once Nugget was inside, sat next to me, the carriage started, the skeleton horse pulling us along. Rosie was sipping tea, occasionally stirring it with a finger. "So, I've always wondered, what heaven was like when you first got there."
"Well, very similar to when you're there for what seemed like years. Maybe longer. But when you first get there, you're met with the front desk, inside the gates. You're checked and sent through to the newly dead. You're given a robe and pair of soulless shoes. They're awful to walk in. You're sent to a room, where we stay for a week, or three. And after that you get to move to your permanent room and you live there. No decorations aloud, no swearing, not colour, just plain white and gold."
