It was like an abandoned street. She walked past the street but some people held her. When she was about to scream, they stopped her scream by making her unconscious, she fell into the hands of that person.

She was dragged into the car by two men and took her far away.

I reached home and to my surprise Advaith was sitting in the couch, his eyes met mine. I walked towards him and asked him

" Why are you sitting here?? Waiting for me.... Oh!! Did you miss me ?? Ah!! " I asked in a cute way. Me blinking eyes many times while asking this.

I know it's a little bit cringe but can't help myself in teasing Advaith.

" Yes, ofcourse darling. I was waiting for you " Advaith answered. I was amazed more over surprised by the way he called me darling. It's like butterflies in my stomach. This feeling hits different.

I was brought back from my thoughts when he spoke again.

" Why did you visit DGP office today?? Why did you lie to me regarding the same?? " He asked, oh! He mocked me before. Late realisation.

" Actually, I had some work with him. It's personal so, I can't tell you " I said and tried walking away from him but to be held by him.

" You didn't answer my second question" he asked

" Yes, I lied to you because I said na it's personal . Now leave me" I answered trying to free myself from his hold.

" I won't untill I get to know the truth. Speak up otherwise I will never leave your hand. " He said in a serious tone.

" Fine, I 'll tell you everything " I said and started speaking the truth.

" I went to DGp because I wanted to hand over the case to Crime branch from you. I requested him to do that and he accepted that. I didn't wanted to inform you like this regarding the case but you insisted on knowing it now. " I answered in onego.

" What?? Why did you do that?? Do you have any idea what are you doing now?? " Advaith asked

" I know what I'm doing right now and I took this decision inorder to.. " I stopped myself

" What?? " He asked

" Because you hided all the information of this case from me and you're shot too. It will be risky for you to investigate and because of you, the case will take more time to be solved. " I said

" You know what, you think you're doing this to protect me but no, you're destroying my career. Whatever case I take up, I will only solve it. Still yesterday I didn't provide any chance to handover the case to someone. But today, you spoiled my career. I can't forgive you for this. Never in my life" he said in anger and he left my hand. I didn't see him in this much anger before.

He was about to leave, I held him and said " it's all for your safety, Advaith. I didn't mean anything to harm your career or to you "

" Oh!! Really, if I don't investigate, will the culprit leave me alone. Do you think?? He already knows each and every information about me. He is not targeting me, he is... " He said while I interrupted " he is targeting me I know, but you will come in between us and you will take up the consequences behalf of me. And I don't want that, Advaith. Please try to understand. "
