In a luxurious room, rays of sunshine slowly appeared as it shines through the window with silver edges which reflected the rays all over the room. A large and comfortable bed with fluffy sheets, and pillows was placed in the middle of the room. In the bed a cute boy who looked about 9; silver hair and cute cat ears on top of his head stirred slightly as he slowly woke up.
The boy cutely yawned, and tears formed at the corner of his doe eyes from just waking up. However, the cute boy's thoughts were anything but cute.
'Another fucking day bound to be filled with nuisances'
Ali thought in annoyance. It had been three days since Ali had last seen Cameron and he was becoming impatient.
'why hasn't he contacted me yet? Is his stupid family holding him back?’
Ali thought in irritation.
No one knew better than him how despicable Cameron's family was other than him, and Cameron of course. If it were up to him, and if he was stronger he would have killed them long ago.
But at this point in time wasn't Cameron still trying to get their attention?
'he probably wouldn't like that…'
As Ali thought to himself his door was opened and an old man came into his room,
"Young master, it is time for breakfast,"
the old man said respectfully to him.
This was Altan, his Father's personal butler who his so-called ‘Father’ assigned to him because he was ‘worried’ about him.
"Thanks, I'll be there soon," I said nonchalantly.
"Would the young master like some maids to attend to him?" Altan asked
"No"
Altan bowed his head and respectfully closed his door. Ali stayed still for a moment before sighing. He then got up and went towards the luxurious bathroom. He lightly tapped on the tap of the bathtub that has a magic rune on it, and that causes hot water to then flow out. After filling the tub Ali turned off the tap and tested the water. Feeling that it was just right he took off the large silky nightgown, and stepped into the bathtub before sitting down comfortably. The bathtub was large and wide. It had more than enough space inside to hold his small form. He then began to add different scents and soaps as he soaked.
After bathing Ali came out of the bathtub and dried off with a large fluffy burgundy towel. He then put on some noble yet simple clothes which was a pair of white shirt and black pants. The pants were a bit high waisted with three elegantly carved buttons on the front. The shirt he had on was a buttoned up shirt with silky markings on the front where the buttons were, and on his collar; the sleeves were long and end in a slight ruffle.
He then oiled his skin with a flowery scent that he liked, and brushed his hair, ears and tail. After brushing his tail Ali looked proudly at it; if one didn't look at his ears they might think he was a fox. Ali swayed it slightly before finally getting up and walking through his door.
The slightly satisfied expression on his face disappeared as a nonchalant expression replaced it. He ignored the maids and butlers telling him good morning quietly and respectfully as he headed towards the dining room. He almost lost the way a few times as after all the previous Ali barely had any memories of the main manor. He snorted at that and couldn't help but snort again as he remembered his so-called siblings' efforts recently.
Finally reaching the dining room he opened the large doors and walked inside. He was greeted with a generously full large dining table and cheerful good mornings. Ali took his eyes off the food for a moment and nodded at them. he then walked towards where everyone was seated skipped a seat beside his second oldest brother Andrew and sat in the other seat. Andrew showed a hurt look which Ali ignored.
"Good morning Ali" Duke Vincent greeted.
"Good morning your Honor" Ali replied, he then turned towards the food in front of him with a happy gleam in his eyes. He once again deliberately ignored the sad look in the Duke's eyes. Ali then began eating, starting happily with the bacon and eggs.
"How did you sleep Ali?" the Duke asked after a while trying to strike up a conversation.
Ali paused between bites swallowed the remaining food in his mouth, and then answered
"It was fine your Honor thanks for asking" he said nonchalantly before turning his attention back to his food. The atmosphere at the table was even more awkward after this short conversation. Ali however was unaware of this as he happily continued to eat his food. He even finished his warm cup of milk and gestured to the maid to fill it back for him and he continued eating.
"Um Ali" Andrew said after a while trying to dispel the awkward silence
"I'm going horseback riding later would you like to come?" he asked hopefully. Ali again, once again stopped eating and glanced at him with a little bit of annoyance "no"
He said simply before once again continuing eating. Andrew bowed his head in disappointment, yet again. Nobody said anything after that, and they all quietly ate breakfast.
After a while Ali finished eating, and got up and pushed away his chair.
"I am finished, will your Honor please excuse me?" he asked while glancing in the Duke's direction.
"You're excused" the Duke answered softly. Ali then left the room and walked around the large manor a bit to digest his food before walking outside and into the large forest behind the manor. This forest was a part of the property of the manor and there were no magical beasts inside, only a few rabbits and the like.
Ali came here because he knew no one would be able to spy on him here as no one came here anymore. Well that's what he assumed based on the condition of the forest. Anyways, he came out here to train, he was only a tier one -E rank right now. He wanted to be a tier 2 E rank like his beloved or maybe even stronger! So he could protect him! Ali’s eyes showed a love sick gaze.
