Seventh Chapter

Di natakot mamatay si James for about 10 minutes bago siya nag pa gas.. thank god

J: "WOHOOOOOO!!! Ang saya grabe, pa gas muna tayo."

I: "James, di na ako aangkas sayo pag gabi na, bwisit ka"

J: "Di ko normally ginagawa yun, pero since sabi mo di pa tayo mamamatay today, i know that i'm safe"

I: "... Kahilo"

J: "Inom ka tubig.. here"

I: "Thanks.."

J: "The reason why i wasn't surprised about your ability is, i've met someone who's just like you.. But the past.."

I: "Really? I didn't know.. never seen someone like that in any future.."

J: "Yeah maybe, ever heard the name Erica Jurado?"

I: "No... yeah no, what's her power?"

J: "Well, if you can see the future, she can go to the past"

I: "Really? ain't that handy"

J: "Yeah but everytime she goes to the past, she changes the future duhh.. but she can't go to a specific past.. it's 1 week always, so if 2 weeks goes by, she can only repeat the recent week.. which is a huge problem because in her past, time also moves.."

I: "I see, so she can travel one week but not a specific week."

J: "That's correct.. Now the reason she used this ability is because there's this guy that she liked.. and everytime or rather everyday, she always want this boy to be with him. Going for a week and then going back, creating something she would call 'The perfect week'.."

I: "The perfect week?"

J: "Yeah, it's a week where the spend the most time together, if she doesn't like it then she repeats the week. For some reason, i Feel the changes, for example, every time i wake up, i can feel that she reversed and changed something but it's still the same day.."

I: "I see, so like Steins Gate type situation"

J: "I don't know what that is but sure, So fast forward a couple months, we met and i basically became her like assistant like how to set up dates, what's the best time.. for 3 months it was going well.. But later on this guy that she likes who's name is Kerry Smith, asks me if i know the girl or not then we went to a cafe and we talked a bit, tapos nag sabi siya na he's been having dreams about some kind of world kung saan di niya kilala si Erica, as a friend ni Erica, i lied, sinabi ko i don't know anything about that.."

I: "Dreams huh, so he's having visions"

J: "Yeah something like that, then fast foward a week later, we found Kerry hanging from the ceiling of our school, tapos nakasulat sa black board, "I have no life, I have no choices, I am not me" it's like timed na nag hang siya right after pumasok kami.. Kasama ko si Erica non then siyempre shocked kami and first worry ko is si Erica, in that moment, Naramdaman ko na ni repeat ni Erica ang week nayun so many times that nahimatay ako.."

I: "Woahhh, so nalaman ni Kerry ung secret ng buhay nya??.."

J: "Somehow yes, pero walang nakakaalam, pag gising ko nun it's been 5 hours since the incident, katabi ko si Erica at naiyak siya, sabi nya sakin"

*Past*

E: "James!!, ano gagawin ko?? Kahit ilang repeat ko, it's always the same, i can't change it, kung hindi sa school, sa bahay nila.. It's always the same message, "I have no life, I have no choices, I am not me".. Please James.. Help mee.."

J: "sorry Erica but, i don't know... Kilala mo ba ung nag sabi sa kanya?"

E: "... No..."

J: "Erica.. don't lie.."

*Umiiyak si Erica*

E: "It was me.. Sinundan ako ni Kerry sa cr ng mga babae.. at narinig niya ung mga plano ko, ano gagawin ko kapag di maganda ung week, nalaman nya rin na inuulit ko ung week ka da panget ung week.. Ni upfront nya ako sa isang mga repeats ko, nag promise na ako, lumuhod na ako sa kanya... Nag beg na ako na wag niya patayin sarili niya pero it's always the same..."

J: "That means.. This week, this day.. He's meant to die.."

E: "No.. noo hindi pwede!!.. I just have to repeat farther than a week, a month, 5 months.."

J: "Then what will happen to you??"

E: "I don't know.. I'm scared.."

J: "Give it some time"

E: "James, will you still be my friend?"

J: "Of course.. we're partners in crime.."

*Present*

I: "Damn.. wtf.."

J: "Well after that day, siguro ginawa niya un kasi di na sila nag papansinan ni Kerry, and Di na siya Erica Jurado.. She's Erica Bacarro now.."

I: "She undo everything but changed her self.. Damn let me guess you liked her too huh.."

J: "Shut up man.. It's just something in my past, angkas ka na"

I: "So.. why'd you tell me that?"

J: "I'm telling you to clear everything up before it's too late, like you said, you can't change fate and death.. So at least before it happens, they are happy and prepared.."

I: "... I see"

So after that story I went ahead and thought about it real hard.. habang nabiyahe kami, nag reminiscence kami about the pasts, sinabi ko rin sakanya ung nangyari samin ni Marie, which well nagulat siya at nagalit bat di ko raw tinuloy..

after 30 minutes naka rating na kami sa apartment ko or what i would like to call bahay ko since it always feels like home..

J: "O siya, ingat ka ahh"

I: "Thanks James, I needed that talk.."

J: "No problem.."

I: "Also James.."

J: "Yeah?"

I : "It's this friday.. I couldn't see it properly, but the last thing I saw was Friday"

J: "Cool man, Enjoy your week.. Cover ko na days mo... Don't leave any regrets okay?? At least promise me that"

I: "It's a promise then..
