"Charlotte, honey your food is getting cold" I grabbed my bag and went downstairs. As I was eating my dad walked in talking about what happened last night going on and on about not howling unless you're in danger. Of course I didn't tell him about the vampire boy from last night. It's not like I'll ever see him again. "Charlotte, I know you just joined the pack but you have to learn sweetheart" "Yes dad, I'm sorry. Okay?" I told him as I ate my food and left for school. As I'm walking in the hallway at school Jonah walked up to me. Ugh,  is he going to scold me too? I thought to myself. Jonah is one of the leaders in the pack; his father Jameson is the main leader. "Hey Charlotte" he said all smiley. "Hey." I responded "What's wrong?" he asked "Oh nothing you know I'm embarrassed about what happened last night and I thought you were going to lecture me about it". He continued talking to me but I stopped playing attention when I smelt it, the same smell from last night. I smelt him. I got excited but scared for my life at the same time. What if he notices me? What if he's here for me? I saw him walking with principal Carter. Then that's when it happened they walked to the hallway I was in and principal Carter saw me "Hey Charlotte!" He said as he called me over. I walked over very slowly. "Yes Mr. Carter?" "Charlotte is one of our best students here at Redolf High, and she'll show you around". He said to the boy. Then he looked at me. "Charlotte, this is Finn Dashkov. Finn this is Charlotte Amoux." Right when Mr. Carter said my last name, he looked at me with his huge, now brown eyes. I got so nervous he must have known about the Amoux werewolves in this town. "Well you two have fun" Mr. Carter said as he walked away. That's when Finn looked at me and said "I know what you are Charlotte" I got nervous and looked back at him "and that is?" "You're one of those know-it-alls" I signed in relief as I thought he'd say something else. I chuckled a little "Well I guess you could say that".. I spent most of the day showing him around, and then it was lunch time. Oh god oh god where is he supposed to sit he can't sit with us.. Jonah would be able to tell what he is right away. He must be a new vampire still training or does he not care I'm a werewolf? Is he different? No, there's no way he must be a new vampire, that's it. I thought to myself. "So where do you sit?" He asked as I grabbed my food. "Well you see there's my friends over there. I pointed to them. "But the thing is this guy.. Jonah, he well he doesn't like new people and well I'm really sorry he just-" "Oh I get it, he's your boyfriend" "N-no" I tried saying "it's okay I'll find somewhere to sit" and he walked away. As I walked up to my table my friends greeted me. Besides Jonah he didn't say anything until I sat down. "Who's your new friend?" He said glaring at me. He sounded extremely jealous. "Oh that's um Finn, I was just uh ya know showing him around". "Mhm" Jonah said as he looked across the lunch room at Finn. "I could tell what he is as soon as he walked in. I don't want you hanging out with vampires. You hear me? You wouldn't want your dad finding out." I glared at him. "Jonah, Mr. Carter told me to show him around. What was I supposed to do?"
