One day, I was just messing around in my house, when I saw a old, dusty diary in my attic. I decided to look inside, in case anything interesting happened, I decided to read some. However, while I was flipping through, one lead really intrigued me. I started reading it.
My mom is a very superstitious person. She always makes sure I tucked my toes in my blanket when I was sleeping, that I make sure all my doors are locked, and her one VERY important rule. She insists to NEVER trust someone who is named Claire. I always wondered why, but mom gets angry when I don't listen to her rules, so I played along with it. Until I got to middle school. There was a new girl, and her name was Claire. She became popular INSTANTLY. With her good looks, outgoing personality, good fashion sense, and rich lifestyle, everyone loves her. For some reason, she seems unnervingly fixated on ME. Of course, I tried to ignore her at first, but with her party invitations and all the 'wanna sit with us for lunch" I finally gave in. Whenever I declined her offers, everyone thought I didn't like her and said I was jealous. I came to a trampoline park with her and her friends, and she said she would pay. She didn't seem like a bad person, so I just ignored my moms warnings about people with her name. However, one thing that seemed suspicious is that whenever she asked me something, she had this weird, eerie grin on her face. Anyways, at the trampoline park, we were playing, fun stuff, yknow. She pulled these drinks out of her bag, and gives me one. It was green, and the others are blue, but I don't mind. I drunk the drink, and it was pretty good. But I felt woozy after.
I flipped to the next lead in the diary, looking to see if there was anything else linked to the previous words. There was some more.
I looked in the mirror today, and I look disgusting! Acne all over, smeared lipstick, and crusty, dandruff infested hair. However, at school, Claire looked even more beautiful as she did the day before. Lucky her. I love her looks so much. However I don't remember going to a trampoline park with her?...
The words ended at that. Chill ran down my spine.
