An old grey haired man with a black suit sat at the edge of a metal bed in a shabby grey shack with strange animal skulls on the walls. The shack was filled with all sorts of medical supplies and equipment that beeped as the sounds of fans can be heard all over the shack. The equipment made the shack sound like a hospital room. It even had respirator style sounds that didn't help the old man relax at all. The sounds were bugging the man as he sat there and contemplated his life as he felt his chest.as a throubling pain told him he his time neared the end.
"I will see you now." A lady in blue monks robes peeked her head out from a room in the tent.
The old man got up and went into the other room as the lady Monk pointed him to a chair. He limped over to the chair and sat down. The chair was cold steel, It chilled the old man to the bones as he sat in it awaiting whatever news he would be given. The blue robed lady monk just smiled as she went to a control panel and flipped a few switches and turned a dial. The machine hummed as a mechanical cap contest to a wire came down from the selling.
"I heard that you have been gambling again, Grey. tisk, tisk, please stop doing that, lest you find yourself the property of a casino owner and his pit boss like my friend the undertaker." The lady monk said.
Look here Pasley Hiln. I knew you since you were no taller than my knee. Your parents where the ones who healed me more times than I caen count. Despite this you stillo have more days left than I do. So I'll do with my last days as I will. If I want to have a little fun betting on some races I will do as I will. Either way, It's the least an old man can do before he dies." The old man said in frustration, calmed himself, and then leaned back in the chair.
The lady monk hooked The old man up to the hat with several straps and then went over and viewed the screen near the switches. She tried to get the screen to come on but it didn't. She tried everything she knew she could do including hitting it but to no avail. The outer case of the machine cracked as Grey noted how cheap the equipement here was.
"What wrong your medical machine seems to be out of order. Maybe you should of not bought cheap equipement." Grey said as Pasley just shrugged her shoulders.
"I have no clue, It was working this morning. It's not working. I bought his on sale. I thought I could repair it. It has It will not start, So I guess I have to do this the old fashioned way." Pasley turned off the machine and then went over to Grey. "hold out your hand.' she ordered him and he did as she said.
Paisley looked deeply into Grey Palm. She glared into his very soul as if his palm where a screen into his very deepest world. She looked deeply and then frowned. She frowned as she did so. "I am guessing you weren't a very good law man then. The Karma that is nourishing your seed is the very worst kind. Your Carma Seed will bloom into an Awshin I am afraid."
Grey was taken aback by what had been said. He Jerked his hand away from Pasley and looked at his palm. He knew that only Susha Monks could see into the souls of people but he wanted to see in badly. To see what his years as a Lawman had made his Karma seed into. The thing was though even if he could he was unqualified for such a thing as Karma reading. "What will this mean. I hope that It won't bring too much trouble to the living. It just going to be a small greedling i guess. No big deal. My legacy will not harm a soul." Grey said as he got up and took off the mechanical hat.
Pasley just shook her head and stopped Grey from leaving. "You of all people should know that that's not true. Grey, through the bad times and the good, The Karma that you generated Nourished your seed to be a dark Wrath seed and a powerful one at that. I have seen only one other like it and it didn't end good for that person's loved ones. It will not be good for yours as well."
Grey did a double take and then fell back into the chair. He started crying as he looked up at Pasley. "That's what my Legacy will be. Why? Please Paisley I know you of all people will not lie to me but that can't be how things will end for me. Will it?"
