summary: winter ask autumn to be his girlfriend

it had been couple weeks since their encounter at the halloween party. they have had a couple interactions but nothing much. usually about work.

it was the end of the day as winter was doing
handover with a parent. autumn happened to be walking past when she heard the parent shouting at winter.

"HOW CAN YOU NEARLY GIVE MY CHILD SOMETHING THEY ARE ALLERGIC TO?" The parent said shouting in winters face

"i cannot apologise enough. but i took it away before she even took a bite."

"I AM GOING TO COMPLAIN TO TH-"

"excuse me but you are being way to loud what is the issue?" autumn said firmly while winter looked at her shocked

"THIS IDIOT NEARLY GAVE MY CHILD SOMETHING THEY ARE ALLERGIC TO"

"he has apologised what more do you want from him?" autumn said in a angry tone

"I WANT YOU TO GET RID OF HIM HE IS CLEARY UNQUALIFIED." the parent said

"everyone has mistakes. your child didn't even take a bite. and according to the records it's a very minor allergy a small rash at worst which can be treated with some cream. winter is one of our most qualified and hardworking staff here so I would appreciate it if you would stop talking about him in a rude way. especially over something so little he has apologised numerous times. there's nothing else that can be done. please just get over it." autumn said sternly feeling shocked at what she just said

the parent gave her a dirty look before running off when autumn gave her a death stare back.

"you okay?" autumn said giving him a slight smile

"yes thank you for defending me." winter said

"it's no problem." autumn said before turning around and walking towards the carpark.

as she got outside she saw it was pouring hard.

"shoot I don't have an umbrella." autumn murmured to herself

"i can walk you to the car if you like" a voice said behind her

as autumn turned around she realised who it was. it was winter.

"yes please thank you."

as they walked in silence suddenly winter said something that would forever change their fate.

"autumn will you go out with me?" winter said looking embarrassed

autumn stared at him in shock.

"i-i" autumn stuttered

"im sorry that was to much ill be off now" winter said before walking off

"yes." autumn shouted back making winter turn to look at her in the eyes

"yes ill go out with you winter." autumn said looking shocked about her response

"are you sure? I don't want to force you." winter said

autumn smiled and nodded

"i love you autumn."

"me to winter."

winter dropped the umbrella and pulled autumn in for a hug and then pulled her in for a long kiss. they knew everyone went home so they weren't bothered about hiding it they were just in the moment

they carried on and kissed in the rain.

it was 10:00 in the morning when winter woke up. he looked around confused by his surroundings before remembering that he went back to autumns house after. he looked at the other side of the bed to see autumn not in there. she must of woken up already. he quickly makes the bed and goes and puts some mouthwash in his mouth before going downstairs the stairs to see autumn making breakfast.

"morning my love" says winter

"oh good morning my sweet" autumn says while rubbing her eyes

"i made you eggs and bacon if that's okay" says autumn

"yes that's fine thank you. did you get enough sleep last night" says winter

"oh I didn't get any sleep last night." she says while yawning

"what? why?" winter said with an concerned look on his face.

"i find it hard to sleep and around people."

"oh im sorry, may I ask why?" winter said

"just some experiences in the past. nothing much."
autumn said looking down.

winter had met roger before when getting the job at the nursery. he knew he wasn't a very nice person. unfortunately he didn't know how bad of a person he was.
