A Breeze So Comfortable to Die In ....
The sound of the wind swaying the trees and hitting the windows was somehow so comforting that the woman who had her back to the door doing the dishes hummed.
The woman's back view looked so fragile that if the wind blows faster, it might snap her in two.

The silence in the kitchen was broken by a loud voice, "Lin Yue do you want to wash the dishes forever? Why can you not do anything right?!"
Except for the wind the was no other sound in the kitchen.
Dong Lan Fen the woman who shouted was visibly angry from the lack of response from her daughter in-law Lin Yue.

She hated this cursed woman who is barren and so weak she can not even do anything right, she so wished to rip her apart but held herself back and shouted again.
"Lin Yue, you have grown balls that you deem it useless to answer me, right?!" still no response... Dong Lan Fen was so angry her face turned red.
Lin Yue for the life of her could not hear what her mother in-law was saying.
She felt her head aching so bad, her ears kept on buzzing and her eyelids felt heavy. She did not fight the urge to sleep that overcame her, she felt like she needed it and it would be comfortable.
"Lin Yu..." before Dong Lan Fen could finish her sentence, she saw the silhouette of Lin Yue hitting the ground. The sound of the plate hitting the ground and shattering accompanied Dong Lan Fen's scream that it startled Zhang Min who had be watching the TV In the living room.

"Mom what was that! Do you want me to die of a heart attack?" Zhang Min said rushing to the kitchen. Upon seeing the situation in the kitchen, she was so stunned that her eyes popped up to her mother silently questioning her.
"Xiao Min what should we do? this woman just fainted while I was talking to her". Dong Lan Fen said turning to her daughter still visibly frightened.

"What else can we do besides take her to the hospital, go call for an ambulance ". Zhang Min sighed from the frustration she was feeling.... "All she knows is cause trouble..." she said under her breath.

Upon hearing her daughter Dong Lan Fen goes to call for the ambulance.

In the hospital......

Lin Yue woke up feeling thirsty, she forced her worn out self out of the hospital bed to get some water as there was none on the table.
She took the water jug and with silent steps approached the door. Before she could reach for the door knob, she heard a familiar voice speaking with her sister in-law.

"Did she finally find out?" Huang Fen's voice ranged out asking. 'Which "she", are they talking about, is it me?' Lin Yue contemplated.

"I don't think so, with how stupid she is how could she find out? She might commit suicide if she finds out" Zhang Min said mockingly. Huang Fen giggled...
'Since when were they this close?' Lin Yue wondered as she continued to listen.
"Well, the doctor said she is stressed out that's why she fainted, so I thought she found out that Zhang Hao was cheating on her that's why she got depressed and fainted". Huang Fen said gloatingly.

Lin Yue was surprisingly calm when she heard this, she turned back put the jug on the table and climbed back on the bed. Her fluttering eyes where so dry that it frightened herself, she tried so hard to get herself to cry but it proved futile. 'sigh' she gave up and suddenly her mind was clear.
Thinking back to the conversation she heard she found herself answering them in her mind.

It is not like she did not know that Zhang Hao was cheating on her. The smell of lady's perfume and lipstick stains on his clothes is proof enough. She just did not have the energy to talk about, what would change anyway if they talked about.
She does not even remember the last time she and Zhang Hao had a meaningful conversation.
What hurt her is that all of the people around her knew as well and watched her moving about as a clown.

If not for the gloating tone of her so-called best friend when talking about she could have lied to herself that she hid the matter from her to protect her feelings.
Turns out she really had no one to count on. 'sigh' she closed her eyes trying to think of some happy memories but nothing popped in mind.

Turns out she was never truly happy.
A cool breeze passed in the room, it was so comfortable to die in. she slowly closed her eyes and darkness descended on her .......
