Kotone found herself lying in bed when she got a knock on her door. She slowly got to her feet as she walked to the door. As she opened the door light illuminated to dark room from the hallway. Kotone looked up to see Mitsuru standing there. "Shiomi, thank you for answering. I'm at a loss right now and was hoping you could help me with a matter I needed to attend to." Kotone looked as if she hadn't slept in days and was crying most of the time. Everyone was distraught over Makoto's death. Yukari had it the worst. Nobody had heard a word from her since March 5th. Kotone sighed. "What do you need Mitsuru-senpai?" Kotone asked, still very exhausted but unable to get any sleep. "I would like it if you helped me convince Yukari to leave her room. She's taken Makoto's death the hardest. I fear she's going to hurt herself if she doesn't leave and eat. She's only eaten when either myself or Akihiko have brought her food. She can't live like this for much longer." Kotone rubbed her eyes as she nodded confirming she would help. They walked downstair to Yukari's and Makoto's old room. Kotone put her ear to the door listening and only heard slight sobbing. She gave a sigh of relief before knocking on the door. "Yukari it's Kotone. Could you please open up? I want to make sure you're doing ok." There was a slight shuffling before the door cracked open. Kotone was barely able to make out Yukari's face. Her hair was a complete mess along with her eyes being extremely bloodshot.
"Yukari, please open the door further. We want to make sure you're ok. Cracking your door doesn't make us feel any better." Yukari gave a big sigh before walking away from the door with it still cracked open. Kotone pushed the door further revealing the room completely untouched. Yukari was curled up on the bed once again. "See. I'm not dead. Now please leave me alone." Yukari pleaded while still crying. "Takeba. Get up! I won't allow you to continue sulking here. He, wouldn't want you to be sulking in here. He would want you to spend time with your friends and enjoy the life he has gifted us." Mitsuru's comment only made Yukari cry more. Clearly bringing up Makoto didn't help the situation. Kotone waved for Mitsuru to leave so that she could handle it. Kotone sat down on the bed while Yukari was lying down. She rubbed her head in an attempt to comfort Yukari. Kotone noticed Yukari had Makoto's earphones on.

"Yukari. What was something you and Makoto did that made you really happy?" Kotone asked. Yukari raised her head slightly to look at Kotone, tears were running down her face. "W-We used to go to... Paulownia m-mall to relax." Yukari answered just barely. Kotone then grabbed Yukari's hand and tried her best to get her out of bed as she guided her over to the sink where Kotone gave Yukari a makeover. She did her best to work around the tears falling down Yukari's face and ended with a pretty good result all things considered. "We're going to go to Paulownia mall today. Let's go." Kotone then grabbed Yukari's hand again as they walked down the stairs and out of the dorm. Shinjiro was in the lobby when he saw Kotone leave with Yukari. Koromaru was sat on the floor next to him as he looked up at Shinjiro. "Aroo?" Koromaru asked. "I think Kotone is trying to cheer Yukari up right now. I'd leave them be. But that does remind me that I've gotta make you lunch." Shinjiro then stood up and headed for the kitchen. Koromaru ate Shinjiro's meal before jumping and barking at him before walking to the stairs.
"You want me to follow you Koro?" Shinjiro asked as he followed the dog up the stairs. Koromaru led Shinjiro to the old command room. Shinjiro was confused before Koromaru barked at the monitor. Shinjiro pressed a button on the computer and a video popped up with the play button ready. The screenshot for the start of the video showed Makoto on it. Shinjiro gasped as he pulled out his phone and called Mitsuru. "C'mon pick up Kirijo. Pick up damn it." Shinjiro was getting restless until Mitsuru picked up the phone. "Hello?" She asked. "Mitsuru it's Aragaki, get up to the command room right now. And let the others know too." Then Shinjiro hung up the phone. Mitsuru took the words very seriously as she called everyone else back to the dorm so that everyone was present. Once there only Kotone and Yukari weren't back. Mitsuru made it a task to not disturb them. "Where the hell is Takeba and Kotone?" Shinjiro asked. Mitsuru looked confused. "What do you mean? They're out relaxing Shiomi was helping Yukari get over the loss of Yuki." Shinjiro sighed as he pointed to the screen. It was the first time anyone bothered to look as they all gasped at the screen, seeing Makoto. Mitsuru then quickly grabbed her phone as she called Kotone.
Kotone and Yukari were hanging out at Paulownia mall. Yukari however wasn't in too happy of a mood. She stopped crying before they got there but she was still visibly saddened. While they were walking around Kotone brought Yukari into one of the shops. She remembered it as one that she and Makoto went to in order to buy some new things for each other. Just then Kotone got a call from Mitsuru. "Mitsuru-senpai? Huh? Yeah, I'm with Yukari. No, we're not in the middle of anything just yet. What? O-Oh got it, we'll be back as soon as possible." As Kotone hung up the phone she turned to Yukari. "I've got some good news. We're gonna go back to the dorm. Everyone is waiting for us, they've got something they want to show you." Yukari looked at Kotone as they walked back to the dorm.
When Kotone and Yukari entered the dorm Akihiko was waiting downstairs for them as he guided them up to the command room. Once they entered Shinjiro hit play on the video. Yukari looked over and saw Makoto in the video. "Hello. If you're seeing this video, then... Well you can probably guess. I have a few things to tell you all. From the very start I had set out on a mission when I got to Iwatodai station. I was going to do whatever I could to save those who died along the way. In my original timeline Shinjiro, Mitsuru's father, and Chidori." Chidori looked to Junpei as he held her close. "I made this video in the event that when we fight Nyx I perish from using what is known as, 'The Great Seal' an ability only granted by the persona 'The Universe' which is of the World Arcana. I would also like to say this. Yukari..." Yukari then looked right into Makoto's eyes.

"Yukari... This hurts me the most. I would have loved to spend eternity with you. But unfortunately, fate has never been on my side. I am predestined to give my life in order for you all to live. Which is why I probably told you all to 'live' when I chose to fly and face Nyx. Just know that your words were heard by me during the fight. It was the only reason I was able to stand on my own two feet and beat Nyx to begin with. The Makoto you saw after January 31st was only a husk of me. But I hope you all find it within your hearts to move on. It's what I wish for you all. Continue to live your lives without me. If you need a reason to live... Live for me. Enjoy life for me." Makoto was on the verge of tears as he finished the video. "Yukari, I... I love you." With that, the video ended. Everyone was on the verge of tears but held them back, all except Yukari who burst into a full-on whaling. Kotone and Shinjiro were comforting her as she sat on the couch with her hands covering her face. Suddenly she felt a third hand on her back. She could tell is wasn't anyone who was in the room. Rather it was the presence of Makoto placing his hand onto her back and telling her to continue her life for him. She wiped away the tears from her face as she stood up. She headed back to her room as Mitsuru told everyone, "I think we've all had a bit of a rough day today. Let's all rest up for tomorrow.
Kotone woke up extra early the next day due to receiving a text from an anonymous person. "Dear Kotone Shiomi, please meet me in the alley in Paulownia mall. And bring miss Takeba with you. It is very important." Kotone then got out of bed and knocked on Yukari's door. It took a bit of knocking because Yukari was in deep sleep but she eventually answered the door. "We've gotta go to Paulownia mall." Yukari was half asleep and confused before Kotone grabbed her hand and yanked her out of the room. Before Yukari could get a full grip on what was happening she was being forced into the entrance to Paulownia mall. Kotone guided her to the alley where where they saw a glowing blue light. As they turned the corner Kotone gasped as they saw to door to the Velvet room.
