˗ˋ ୨୧ ˊ˗ Violet was excited to spend the night at Jayla's house with her boyfriend Javon, his twin brother Jaden, and their respective girlfriends, Nat and Lilly. She had been looking forward to it all week, but little did she know that Nat had other plans.
As soon as Violet walked in the door, Nat started making snide comments about her outfit and hair. Violet tried to brush it off, but it was clear that Nat was trying to get under her skin.
The group settled in for the night, with Nat insisting on setting up a projector to watch a movie in the living room. But instead of a normal movie, Nat decided to play a "surprise" video that she had made, featuring Violet getting pranked with water balloons and silly string.
Violet laughed along with the others at first, but as the pranks continued, she started to feel annoyed. First, Nat replaced Violet's pillow with a whoopee cushion, then filled her bag with packing peanuts. Violet tried to joke it off, but deep down she was getting frustrated.
Things took a turn for the worse when Nat decided to play a prank on Violet during dinner. She switched Violet's food with Javon's, much to everyone's amusement. But Violet was fed up.
"Nat, stop it," she said, her voice trembling with anger. "This isn't funny anymore."
Nat just laughed and continued to make snide comments about Violet's reactions. Violet felt like she was being bullied, and it was taking a toll on her emotions.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of pranks, Violet had had enough. She stood up and gathered her things.
"I'm out of here," she said firmly.
Javon tried to calm her down, but Violet was too upset. She stormed out of the house, leaving the others in shock.
"I'm sorry, Violet," Jayla said softly as they watched her go.
"Yeah, me too," Jaden added.
Nat looked smugly at Lilly, who rolled her eyes in disgust.
"I think I might have gone too far," Nat said quietly.
Lilly shook her head. "You're always doing this crap, Nat. It's not cool."
The group sat in silence for a moment before Jayla broke the silence.
"Well, I guess this sleepover didn't exactly go as planned."
The others nodded in agreement as they looked at each other sheepishly.
As they cleaned up the mess and packed up their things, Violet couldn't help but wonder why she had even bothered trying to make friends with someone like Nat. She knew that she deserved better than to be treated like this, and she vowed to never let Nat get under her skin again.
Violet was still fuming about the sleepover incident when she received a message from her professor, Dr. Lee, informing her that she was being suspended from school for a semester.
"What?!" Violet exclaimed, her heart racing with worry. "What did I do?"
According to Dr. Lee, Violet had sent an email asking for straight A's in exchange for... "certain favors". (s3x), The professor was appalled and had immediately forwarded the email to the school administration.
Violet's mind was racing as she tried to process what was happening. She had no idea what Dr. Lee was talking about, and she knew she would never send such an email. It had to be a mistake.
But then it hit her - Nat. She must have set her up. Violet felt a wave of anger wash over her as she realized that Nat had been planning this all along.
She immediately went to Javon's house and confronted him about it.
"Javon, I need to tell you something," Violet said, trying to keep her cool. "I just got a message from Dr. Lee saying I'm suspended from school because I asked for straight A's in exchange for s3x,"
Javon's eyes widened in shock. "What? That's crazy! I know you would never do something like that."
Violet shook her head. "I didn't do it, Javon. But I know who did - Nat."
Javon's face turned red with anger. "That's it, I'm going to talk to Jayla about this."
Violet nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. Finally, someone was taking this seriously.
Together, Javon and Violet went to Jayla's house and confronted Nat about the prank.
"Nat, how could you do this?" Javon demanded.
Nat shrugged. "I just wanted to see how far you would go, Violet."
