Jin sleeping is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my hundreds of years of existence. I don't want to leave him, but I need to talk to Bin. I need to know what I am dealing with. Jungkook and Yoongi are in my office when I walk in, "can one of you wake Bin and bring him to me." Jungkook stands and leaves my office, returning a few minutes later with Bin following behind. He looks disheveled and sleepy. "This better be important Vampire", he says, yawning.

"I want to know everything you know about Jin", I say. He sighs, rubbing his hand over his face. "Not much. I have a few friends that know a lot about merculture, but not many know a lot about angels. When I gave Jin to the Kim's, I told them, do not let him anywhere near water. If you ask him, he will tell you that he has never been to the beach", he explains. "Did you think they would sense he was there", I ask. "Not only that, but I think if he gets into the salt water, well you can guess", he says.

"Can I go back to bed now", Bin asks yawning. "Go, but I will have more questions later", I say. After he leaves and shuts the door, I turn to my best friends. "Can one of you set up a meeting for me with Bittie, she will be able to tell me more", I ask. "I'll do it, I have to go out anyway", Jungkook says leaving my office. "You think Bittie will know something more about Seokjin", Yoongi asks. "She should, she is one of the oldest mermaids still living and she's nosy, so that helps", I explain. 

A short while later Jungkook calls and says that Bittie will meet me before dawn at the usual spot. "Are you bringing Jin, maybe Bittie can get a better read if he is there", Yoongi says. I make my way back up to the bedroom and climb into the bed next to him. Placing kisses on his cheeks and nose, I can't help but to laugh when he crinkles his nose up. "Your lips are so cold", he murmurs. "Warm them up for me then", I challenge. He opens his eyes and stares at me, leaning in and crashing his lips to mine. "Better", I ask. "Yes", he smiles. 

Getting him up, out of bed and dressed wasn't easy. My little angelfish really likes to sleep. "Where are we going", he asks as he finishes getting dressed. "I have a meeting, you are going to stay in the car with Jungkook, unless I need you", I explain. He nods and follows me out the door to my office. When we walk in Jungkook is back and his eyes tell me everything. "You fed", I ask. He nods slightly, looking at Seokjin. I know he likes him, Jungkook doesn't like many people, but I can tell when he looks at Jin. 

Jin walks up to him and looks into his eyes, "do you feel better now that you fed." Jungkook is taken aback by Jin's boldness and closeness. "I do", he says. "Did you kill the person you fed from", he asks with worry in his voice. "No, she is one of our regulars", he says. Jin lifts his nose in the air like he smells something, "you had sex with her too." Jungkook's eyes go wide, "what." Jin's eyes narrow, turning toward me but still talking to Jungkook, "you said one of OUR regulars." I know where he is going with this and I try to hide my smile.

"Tell me Mr. Head Vampire, these usuals won't be a thing anymore, correct", Jin hisses. "That is what I am going to find out today, if I cannot feed from you, then I will", before I can finish speaking he turns and stomps out of the room. I sigh, "is this what being in a relationship feels like." Yoongi laughs, "better you than me." We walk outside to the car and I see Jin waiting. I slip my arms around him but he is still pouting. I open the door for him and he slides in, sitting next to Jungkook. I sigh again and shake my head.

"Bittie, we are here", I say out loud. "Over here Vampy", she says. She is sitting on the pier dangling her feet, "dont worry, they won't know you and the prince are here. Now talk." "He is my mate", I say. "The prince is finally back. I can feel his presences", she says. "And you know his father is an angel", I state matter factly. "I do, and the King is terrified this boy will be his downfall", she says. "Isn't that what most merfolk want, is the king gone", I ask. Her smile tells everything, "that's what we are hoping for." "Tell me what you know about him. I know you have heard stories", I say. 

"The queen and her angel loved that little boy more than anything. The little time they had was spent together, loving and laughing. My heart broke the day she left him with Bin, she knew what was coming next. That little boy is more powerful than even the merfolk think he is. Legend says the minute he touches salt water, his merman will come to the surface. I am not sure if that is how it will work with him. I can't say too much for his angel. I am not sure what abilities he possesses. But the two together make him very rare and very special. Protect him with your life Taehyung, especially after you turn him. To be all three, he will be unstoppable", she says smiling. 

"So I can feed from him and I can change him safely", I ask. "Yes, and if you want to learn more about his angel blood, you will need to go to the only person who would know", she says. Yoongi and I leave her sitting on the pier as we walk back to the car. Looking at my watch I see I have 15 minutes before sunrise. "Let's go home, we need sleep and I will make some calls later", I say. "What did you find out about me", he asks. "Not a lot, but enough for now", I say. "Can you feed from me", he asks shyly. I grin at him and stare out the window, but it falls when I remember who I have to talk to next.
