Camping With A Moron ( A Student/Teacher Story)

Chapter 3

I made my way back to the tent stumping my feet on the ground and grumbling at the floor at how stupid I was. He wasn't going to kiss me, why would I want him to kiss me? He would be called a pervert.

I suddenly hit something or rather someone very hard. "Watch where you're going" I groaned a little too angrily but at this moment in time I didn't care. "Woah, you were the one looking at the floor." I heard a familiar voice say and I knew who it was straight away. Happiness began bubbling  up inside of me.

"Drew?" I whispered lifting up my head slowly hoping it was him. "DREW, DREW. What on earth you doing here?" I squealed excitedly giving him a big bear hug which led him to picking me up a spinning me around.

"Lala, what are you doing here?" Drew asked me whilst flashing his million dollar smile. "I'm here camping with Sissy, you should come and say hi. We can go to the entertainment centre and after catch up?" I asked hopefully.

You see Drew was my best friend ever since I was 4 but last year his family had to move and I haven't seen him since then. This absolutely broke my heart because it was like a piece of me had left too.

"Sure, that sounds great. lala I've missed you so much." he smiled and gave me one more huge hug. We started walking together chatting and laughing holding hands, when we got back the tent was set up with all our sleeping bags in it. There was also some chairs set up and a table with a little portable hob.

Sissy was sitting on a chair opposite Connor who were both drinking some sort of beer. I was more of a cider girl not that my parents could ever know, alcohol was prohibited to touch my mouth until my 18th birthday.

When Connor saw me and Drew he tensed up and when his eyes flickered to my and Drew's hands together, I could see his jaw clench. He isn't my dad or brother so he shouldn't be scared or worried about who I hang with.

"Drew, oh my goodness it's been such a long time." Sissy cried and also gave Drew a big bear hug.

"Sissy, I know right it's been forever" Drew smiled and brought Sissy in for another hug.

"Drew this is moron I mean Connor, Connor this is my best friend Drew." I stated happily that I could see my best friend after a whole year. I heard Drew chuckling but Connor just seemed frustrated with me.

"Nice to meet you Connor." Drew said whilst holding out his hand and Connor took it shaking it a little too fast and seemingly a bit too tight.

"Yeah" Connor said and went back to sipping his beer, how rude can he get.

"So drew you have to join us tonight for the entertainment. There's so much stuff we have to catch up on" Sissy suggested with a twinkle in her eyes that I've never seen before.

Oh my goodness did Sissy have a crush on Drew? I guess it wouldn't be that weird since drew is 16 and she is 19, 3 years is nothing if the guy is younger. Plus Drew's strong jaw line, slick black hair and mesmerising blue eyes were enough to make any girl fall for him.

Now that I think about it Drew would always talk about her but back then Sissy had this stuck up boyfriend who made our lives hell. It used to be the three of us, sometimes I would even feel a little left out and then Sissy got her boyfriend and wouldn't even talk to us so her relationship with Drew fell apart and mines and Drew's grew stronger, when she finally had some sense to break up with him it was too late and Drew was going to leave.

I guess she saw him again and all the feelings she truly had inside came rushing back. He did look really attractive if I do say so myself, his black hair had grown and his got the messy look with his eyes blue as the sky. But nothing compared to Connor he was more of a mature look with his sexy blond hair also messy look but longer, his green eyes twinkling every-time I looked at them.

If only he wasn't a moron.

After drew went to tell his parents he was staying over at our camp and he would be back when the party finished we all sat down and talked, well Sissy and Drew talked whilst me and Connor just watched how they would agree with everything, we each gave a knowing smile and knew what we had to do.

When I checked the time again it was already 7:30pm and we had to start getting ready so I grabbed some White shorts with a cute pink top that had butterfly around the edge I also grabbed my gladiator sandals and a necklace and bracelet to match.

You wouldn't think it but where we are camping there was even electricity so I grabbed my hair dryer, curler, towel and finally my toothbrush.

I made my way over to the bathroom and had a shower after I put on my clothes, did my makeup and started to blow dry my hair, when it was all straight I did a few loose curls here and there and pinned my side fringe up.

This will be a long night I told myself as I made my way back to the tent to put my stuff back. Everyone was already ready. Sissy had this cute yellow summer dress on with a black bracelet and some black sandals, Drew had some wild green and yellow shorts on and a plain White top.

When I saw Connor I nearly chocked  at how attractive he looked. He had some jeans on that hang low and a black T-shirt on that grabbed his body and I could see all his perfection.

"See something you like pretty lady?" he grinned and I blushed that he caught me staring.

"I'm not the one drooling." I laughed as his hand went straight to his mouth and gave me a glare. "Haha very funny, but I'm pretty sure I will be the one laughing last because who laughs first will then laugh first and who laugh last will be the one laughing last?" he said with frowned brows looking confused at own his statement. I didn't understand a word he said so I just nodded and went back to putting my stuff away.

When we reached it I had already told Sissy if she could buy me some stuff and she said yeah but I have to check with her first which was fine by me.

After a while of sitting and drinking Bruno Mars came on and I jumped up so fast and dragged Drew and Sissy to the dance floor. Realising I forgot something so I went back and quickly put my hand on Connor's arm and dragged him to the dance floor, when we got there Drew and Sissy were already dancing together so my only hope was Connor.

I turned around and he winked and grabbed my hand even though this was a fast song we started dancing and moving our hips in the same motion he then grabbed my waist and we danced like that for the whole night.

When it finished we couldn't find Sissy or Drew and frankly I was too drunk to go looking for them so me and Connor just went back to the tent. When we got there I was way to tired so I just went into the tent quickly and took my clothes off  to put my pj's on. I had just finished putting my bottoms on when Connor walks in, he stopped for a while, his cheeks turning rosy pink when I realise I'm only in my bra.

"GET OUT!" I screamed at him throwing a shoe in his direction. This is so not good for me, my hormones are firing up and I'm pretty sure It was his stare that makes me so crazy.

After a long time of me laying there with my eyes open he comes in and the tension is very awkward. "Urmm... I'm sorry" he murmured but I can't see him because I turned of the light that was here before off.

I hear his zip being undone and a little sound as his belts hit the floor then what I assume is his top comes flying across the tent and lands next to me.

He then comes and lays on the air matters as far away from me as possible. I start getting really cold and my teeth start to chatter, I can feel goose bumps on my bare arms.

"Are you cold Bela?" Connor questioned with a concerned tone. "Yes just a tad" I say kinda embarrassed that I can't keep my emotions to myself. I then feel Connor coming closer, I lean my head on his warm chest and he puts an arm around my waist.

I feel warmer and just before I drift off to sleep Connor holds one of my hands and I hear him say. " Good night pretty lady" leading me to sleep soundly with a smile on my face.
