As Meera stepped out of the elevator, she couldn't help but smile to herself. There was something unexpectedly charming about that brief encounter. Abhishek's reaction had been amusing, almost childlike, and Riyan's courteous demeanor made her feel at ease. Pehli baar kisi ne mujhe aise dekha hai, she shook her head, trying to push the thought aside. Focus, Meera. Family time first.
As she reached the suite where her family was staying, she heard the familiar sound of laughter. Little Ritvi's giggles were unmistakable, and it warmed Meera's heart. She opened the door to find her family gathered around the living room, unpacking and joking around.
"Meera Maasi!" Ritvi shouted as soon as she saw her, running over with outstretched arms.
"Arre, meri jaan! Come here!" Meera said, lifting Ritvi up and twirling her around, making the little girl squeal with delight.
Priya looked up from where she was folding clothes and smiled at her sister. "Where were you? We were starting to wonder if you got lost in this huge hotel."
Meera grinned, putting Ritvi down. "Lost? In this hotel? Please, Di, I could navigate this place with my eyes closed. Besides, I just had a little...encounter in the elevator."
Krish, who was lounging on the couch, immediately perked up. "Encounter? Now this sounds interesting. Kya scene hua? Bata na, Meera."
Vedant chuckled, joining in on the teasing. "Haa, Meera, voh kaun tha jisse tu bhid gayi? Some poor soul who got the wrath of your sharp tongue?"
Meera rolled her eyes, but a small blush crept onto her cheeks. "Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai, Jiju. I just met a couple of guys in the elevator. One of them wasn't watching where he was going and almost knocked me over. That's all."
Roohi, who had been listening intently, narrowed her eyes playfully. "Just met a couple of guys, huh? And what happened next? Did this guy say sorry, or did you have to pull out your inner lioness?"
