Nagar vadhu & Marriage

Nagar vadhu is basically a lady which is vadhu or wife of whole nagar=city.means every male person in the city is her husband. so lady who is nagar vadhu is basically awarded prostitute.

she has to serve every man in the city like obedient wife anytime they want. they can use her physically and it is very famous ritual to make most beautiful lady nagar vadhu so that every man can take benefit of her without any war between them in old male dominated and uneducated society. 

this part contains that kind of story.

morning 

we all left our camps and started our journey very early.

everybody knows that i am the only women here.

so i and rajkumar were in front( for safety purpose he was with me)

others were following us.

we soon reached to his kingdom . it was a village. we decided to stay there for a while and to rest.

some villagers helped us and then i was under the tree because it can give some relief in the hot summer, i saw some villagers come near arjun.

villagers=v

V1= maharaj ki jay ho, maharaj ham aapko badhai dene aaye the. aapne adbhut vijay hasil ki hai.

V2= maharaj iss khushi ke moke per hum aapse ek choti si chiz chahte hai.

arjun= ji bataie 

V2 = maharaj aap rajya jitke aaye hai iss khushi per aapne jo jita hai uska thoda hissa hame chahiye. ye ladki.

he pointed towards me. what rubbish . how can he claim me?

arjun immediately pulled out his sword and put on his neck. very good arjun.

arjun= aap ka dimag to thik hai, ye ek stree hai , koi vastu nahi jisko kisi ko diya ja sake. aap log hosh me bhi hai ki kya manga hai aapne?

exactly , illiterate people.

V3= maharaj,ye koi nai baat nahi hai, jo raja rajya jitta hai voh sabse sundar ladki ko apne rajy me bhet swarup deta hi hai, to isme kya nai baat hai , ham iss ladki ko bhi nagar vadhu banayenge.

arjun= nahi, bilkul nahi, karte honge baki raja esa sab lekin mere rajya me kisi bhi stree ke sath esa kuch nahi hoga. stree ek pujaniy devi ka rup hai or use aap in nazaro se dekh rhe hai? sharam aani chahiye aap ko.

senapati= nahi rajkumar , hamare rajya me striyo ke sath hota hai ye sab.aap apni shiksha ke karan rajya me jyada samay nahi de paye hai. rajya ke kuch chote gaav me abhi bhi ye reet chal rahi hai. jab hame iss baat ka dhyan aaya or iss ko suljane ka kary karna tha tab aapne yuddh jari kiya . un kamo me ye prashn abhi tak hal nahi hua hai.

Arjun= kya , itna sab mere rajya me ho raha hai or muje ab pata chal raha hai.kaha hai esi nagar vadhu , jald se jald unhe riha kariye or sahi salamt sthaan per unhe le jaie. agar nagar vadhu ke karan ye samaj se koi pareshani ho to hamare raj mahal me unhe kaam dilwaye lekin mere rajya me esi ku-pratha nahi rahegi.

senapati= ji maharaj, jald se jald iska prabandh hoga.

v4= maharaj aap ese hamse hamare hakk nahi le sakte. her purush ka hakk hota hai apni zindagi me stree ka jesa man chahe vese upyog karna.

V5= maharaj hame to is stree ke bare me pata bhi nahi hai ki ye kitni badchalan hai, esa kyu hai ki yeh akeli bachi hai yaha or baki striya kaha hai? zarur isne koi chal chali hai. na jaane kitne mardo ke saath iska sambandh hoga, tabhi to isse kisine mara nahi or ye abhi tak zinda hai.

V2= haan esa hi kuch hai, iske jesi striya hamare samaj per kalank hai, esi striyo ko to nagar vadhu banakar sidha karna chahiye. aap hi bataye maharaj kon esi stree ko apnayega? kon isse shadi karega?

what do you mean kon shaadi karega , i will choose to be single rather than to marry someone who is not understanding and they continued talking non sense about me. it was still okay but suddenly in anger they started throwing stones on me.

situation was out of control.

they all were so uneducated and in high of their male ego they just wanted me or if they don't get me they will kill me so that i can't go to any other man.

Arjun didn't give a second thought and killed some of them and her whole army came to rescue.

after all the mess villagers stopped throwing stones at me. i means i was in no fault but still i was injured badly.

Arjun= muje majboor mat kijiye ki me or jaan le lu. dimaag hai aap logo me ,kyuki ye aap ko nahi mili to kya maar denge isse? esi baate kon sikhata hai aap ko? stree devi ke saman hoti hai or per stree mata ya bahen saman. unki izzat karna sikhiye. apne rangin shokh ko purusho ka hakk jatana bandh kijiye. me maan nahi sakta ki esi praja mere rajya me hai. lekin aap log ese nahi sudhrenge.

senapati aaj ke baad pure rajya me kahi per bhi esi ku-prathaye, striyo ka shoshan ya balatkar hone per usi vakt uss insaan ko saza di jaye, unka sir dhad se alag kiya jaye.

senapati= ji maharaj, ham jald se jald sainiko se ye prabandh karate hai, aap chinta na kare.

 After listening to this god knows what came in his mind, he suddenly cut his finger with sword and with his blood he poured that into my hairline.

is he mad? what is he doing?

he took his necklace ( raja do wear some neck pieces in that time and in symbol of 'mangal sutra' he used the necklace ) and put on my neck.

in nearby fire we took the '7 feras'also. i know this is not appropriate way or order to do marriage but arjun ko itni jaldi aa gai.

Arjun=lijiye, maine apnaya inhe, ab or kuch kahana hai aap ko?

His soldiers came and took away those villagers somewhere i don't know. his army went to the places where the nagar vadhu was kept . they released them and did further procedures.

while i and arjun went to the tent ( his tent )
