Firefly knew what she had to do. Firefly knew she would have to go back to visit her mother to tell her what happened and ask her what's going on.
Firefly grabbed Luminescent and signaled for Stargazer to grab StarStriker. It had been almost five years since she had last spoken to her mom and sister. And yes, she had a sister. She had been born the same year she had met Stargazer.
Firefly's sister's name was Vine and she tended to be very energetic. Vine had a special power that no other RainWing or nightwing had ever had before, it was originally a leaf wing power so no one truly knows how she got it... but somehow her sister was born with leafspeak.
Firefly sighed. She knew she had to talk with her mother at some point... she just never expected it to be now.
Firefly and Stargazer flew down to the main Royal hut with their dragonets on their backs. The main Royal hut wasn't that far from their hut so it didn't take long before they arrived.
Once they landed, Firefly saw a whole crowd of dragons. Firefly wasn't surprised knowing as her moon was red. The dragons were most likely all as surprised as her and Stargazer. Firefly sighed. It was probably going to be hard to get a private chat with her mom. Really, really, hard.
Firefly walked up to the crowd and turned invisible and started rushing in between all the dragons to get to her mother. When she finally saw her, she turned her scales visible again and grabbed her mother's hand. Her mother looked at her surprised but knew what she meant.
Together, they turned invisible and flew up before flying into the hut where only royals were aloud. "Hewph" Glory said turning visible again. "It's days like these when I wish I wasn't a Queen". Firefly snorted, it's a thing she got from her mom.
"F- Firefly, I haven't seen you in years... why haven't you visited?" Glory asked with a hint of sadness in her voice. Firefly stepped back. "I- I'm sorry mom. I've been so busy with Stargazer, Luminescent, and StarStriker..."
and I didn't really want to visit because of that fight with you the year Vine was born about not wanting to have me move out into my own hut with Stargazer... Firefly didn't add the last part in so she wouldn't make her mother feel bad.
"I get it" Glory said, breaking the silence. "Mom/Firefly I need to tell you something." Queen Glory and Firefly said at the same time. Glory chuckled before signaling to Firefly that she could speak first. Firefly sighed.
"M- Mom, my dragonets had a prophecy."
