Mal’s POV

Jay, Carlos, Harry, dude, and I walked around the forest when Dude said, "Boy something stinks and it wasn’t me this time.” Out of nowhere a beast appears and starts to growl at us. We stumble back in shock.

Dude screams as the beast lunges at us, “AH!” Gil sidesteps the beast and the beast stumbles over the log. The beast lunges again but this time at Harry but Jay pulls him away before the beast can hurt him.

“You need some serious nose adjustments.”

“I’m not so sure.” The beast growls and tugs at his hand, shielding it. This ‘beast’ wasn’t just any beast it was Ben. Oh when she gets her hands on Audrey she is so over.

“Ben is that you?” I step closer carefully.

“Huh I thought I recognized those pants.” Jay said.

“Oh he’s a boo-boo. That’s why he’s so cranky. You know, my dad said that his dad did not handle pain well at all.” Ben growls at him.

“You do something! He’s your fiancé.”

I move closer to his side, “Already on it.” I murmured. As I inched closer I crouched down by his side and whispered, “Hey Benny-Boo it’s me, Mal. I'm not gonna hurt you, don't worry. Do you want me to take that out for you?” Mal reached for his hand slowly and he showed her the injury. I smiled softly, “Oh this will be easy to fix, no magic will be needed.” I carefully touched his hand and pulled the thorn out. “There you go all better now.” He growled loudly after due to the pain.

“Oh will you get on it already, kiss him and let's go.” Harry scoffed. Ben growled and I pulled him back, I faced him as I said, “No worries I think we can manage that, right?” I leaned forward pressing my lips to his and I cupped his face. When I pulled away he was back to his normal self. I smiled warmly and he returned the gesture. I soon realized, “You have a beard now?” I laughed. “yeah , you like?” “Yeah I do, also some fangs.” I laughed, “No.” “No?” He laughed with me putting his arm around my shoulder as we walked away.
