I ate the food while Dr Jin watched his phone...

As I gulped down the last bite... I asked him...

"Dr. Jin?"

He looked at me and my plate...

"Yes, sweetheart? You need more?" He asked

"No... I just want to ask something"

"Sure.. go ahead.."

"Uhm why do you have a frock with you? I mean like uhm it's a girls' dress, isn't it? W-whose dress is this?" I asked him

He sighed...

"It was my ex's... I wanted to gift her this but she left me for another guy"

"Oh.." I felt a sting in my heart.

"I am sorry... I will go" He spoke as he took my plate and stood up...

"Bye.." I said smiling lightly but I was hurt inside.

"Bye Sweetie" he spoke as he left the room...

Does he have a girlfriend? He never told me even when we were very close...

Tears left my eyes...

After 2 days -

I did my routine check-up and was lying on the bed when the door suddenly opened...

"Lily? How have you been my dear?"

I saw my parents standing...
I smiled...

"Mom? Dad? You came? I miss you guys a lot" I spoke as my eyes teared up...

"Oh lord.. why is my princess crying?" My dad spoke

"B-because I missed you both" I spoke as I sobbed

"Aww.. here let's hug" My mom spoke

And with that, I hugged them so tightly...

Because I knew it was near...

They went outside my room to talk to doctors...

"Her health is deteriorating.."  One of the doctors spoke

"What happened Dr. Jung?" My father asked

"The medicines have stopped showing their effect... I don't know why.." the doctor replied.

"Is s-she going to d-die?" My mom asked

"Probably... We don't know yet... But we will still try... Don't worry" The doctor spoke..

I heard them... I knew I wasn't gonna survive.

But before dying... I wanted Dr Jin to know about my feelings...

I waited for him but he didn't come...
With the help of the nurses, I got to know that he was out of town...
