CHAPTER X : DIFFERENT?

i woke up and looked at the time, 7:21am just the right time to get ready,

I got out the steaming shower and went up to my sink, i took my toothbrush and put a small glob of toothpaste on, i brushed my teeth from up to down,

i dried up and went to my closet, I wore a pair of pants with a tucked in sleeveless with my other pair of my business jacket

i put on a pair of shoes and took my bag then left my apartment with the door locked , I took the elevator down to the lobby and left the building, I went to the parking lot and went in my car, I started the engine

i went on the highway and took a turn to my workplace, there was a major traffic while on the way.... A bunch of sounds from the other cars. The traffic timer ticking obnoxiously. yeah this is hell.

the traffic ended and I'm almost late, luckily I got to the building in time and rushed inside, i found that aiah wasn't at her office, she's probably just late ig. I set up my stuff and sat down

im already done with work and aiah hasn't shown up yet.... I went in my car and before i go on the road i decided to dial her number...

I'll call her later when i get home, I left the parking lot in my car. I'm at the highway waiting for the timer to tone down , pretty busy at a sunday i guess. When the timer went down i drove to the road which leads me to my apartment

TIMESKIP TO APARTMENT

got in my apartment and decided to dial aiah but then someone dialed me the second i was about to call her. It was jhoanna?

Calling "Jhoanna/mangga"

J : "mikhs!!! yieee sino yannn!!"i heard her voice excited

M : "hah?! Sino sinasabi mo???"

J : "yung babaeng na naka beige yellowish tinted jacket?? nakita ko na hinihila mo sya sa apartment mo!!" her voice was squealing with excitement too.

M : "uhm kalian nyan...?" was replied in a nervous tone

J : "napunta ka sa bar kasama si.... Ate colet?"

silence was in the call with us huhu

M : "...... Jho may kasama ka ba ngayon.?"

J : "wala bkit?"

M : "wag mo to sabihin sa iba ha."

a few minutes later

J : "ohm... "

M : "ulit wag mo to isabihin sa iba. byee"

call ended

after the call I felt the sudden urge to sleep, i dozed off and closed my eyes completely

afew hours pass by.....

I woke up to find that it's already 7pm..., I went up from my bed and checked my phone to realize that...

I haven't called aiah yet! I went on search to find her number, scrolling down fastly I came to her number and finally called her.

it's been waiting for 2 minutes then she finally replies!

"gag0. Sino to." heard in a rather deep and husky voice, through the voice of the speakers.. This isn't aiah...??
