Welcome back to this story. I've decided to continue this book with bonus chapters that I'll write as one shots. They're going to be different from the story, the only thing they have in common will be the characters. I really missed writing about Mädchen so I'm happy with this solution. let me know what you think of the new chapter(s) and idea about one shots.

The campus was almost eerily quiet as the evening settled in. Most students had cleared out, and the only sounds were the janitor's mop swishing down the hall and the distant hum of the heating system. I wandered through the familiar halls, my footsteps echoing slightly in the emptiness. My mind kept drifting back to the day's classes, but there was one lecture I couldn't stop thinking about. It wasn't just the material—it was the professor.

Professor Mädchen Amick had a way of making even the most boring subjects feel alive. Her passion for teaching and her sharp intellect drew everyone in. But for me, it was something more. There was this unspoken connection between us, a magnetic pull that I couldn't quite explain.

As I approached her classroom, I noticed the light was still on. My heart skipped a beat. It was unusual for anyone to be around this late. I hesitated at the door, my hand hovering over the handle. Taking a deep breath, I stepped inside.

Mädchen looked up from her desk, her eyes meeting mine with a warm, inviting gaze. "Y/N, what brings you here at this hour?" she asked, her voice gentle and soothing.

"I wanted to go over some of the notes from today's lecture," I said, my voice a little shaky. "And I saw the light on, so I thought..."

Mädchen smiled, a knowing glint in her eyes. "Of course, come in. I was just finishing up some grading." She gestured to the stack of papers in front of her, then motioned for me to take a seat.

I settled into one of the front-row desks, the room suddenly feeling more intimate and charged with a different kind of energy. Mädchen stood and walked over, her presence commanding yet comforting. She perched on the edge of the desk beside me, close enough that our knees almost touched.

"So, what did you want to discuss?" Mädchen asked, her eyes never leaving mine.

I fumbled with my notebook, my thoughts a whirlwind. "I just... I had a question about the last topic. But now I can't seem to remember what it was," I admitted, feeling my cheeks flush.

Mädchen chuckled softly. "That's alright. Sometimes it's not about the questions, but about the conversations we have. The connections we make."

I looked up, my eyes locking with Mädchen's. There was a pause, a moment suspended in time where words were unnecessary. Slowly, Mädchen reached out and gently tucked a stray strand of hair behind my ear, her fingers lingering for just a moment longer than necessary.

The touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I felt a surge of courage. "Professor Amick, I—" I began, but my words were cut off as Mädchen leaned in, her lips capturing mine in a soft, tender kiss.

It was like the world outside ceased to exist. The only thing that mattered was the feel of Mädchen's lips on mine, the warmth of her touch. The kiss deepened, and I felt myself melting into the moment, all my doubts and fears dissipating.

When we finally pulled apart, both of us were breathless, our foreheads resting against each other's. Mädchen's eyes were filled with a mix of emotions—tenderness, longing, and a hint of vulnerability.

"I've wanted to do that for a long time," Mädchen admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Me too," I replied, my heart swelling with affection.

Mädchen smiled, a real, genuine smile that lit up her entire face. "Well, we've certainly crossed a line tonight," she said softly. "But it's one I don't regret."

"Neither do I," I assured her, our fingers intertwining.

We stayed like that for a while, simply enjoying the closeness, as the evening grew darker and the campus fell silent.

Eventually, Mädchen stood up, giving my hand a gentle squeeze before letting go. "We should probably get going. It's getting late," she said softly.

"Yeah," I agreed, not wanting to leave but knowing we had to.

As we walked out of the classroom, the hallways felt different, like they held a secret only we knew. We didn't say much as we made our way to the exit, but the silence was comfortable.

Before we parted ways, Mädchen turned to me, her expression serious yet tender. "We'll talk more about this tomorrow. I want to make sure we handle this right."

"Of course," I said, nodding. "Goodnight, Mädchen."

"Goodnight, Y/N," she replied, her smile returning as she gave me one last look before heading to her car.

I watched her go, my heart full and my mind racing. This was just the beginning, and I couldn't wait to see where it would lead us.

As I walked back to my dorm, I replayed the evening in my mind. I still couldn't believe it had happened. The kiss, the way her eyes softened when she looked at me, the unspoken understanding between us. It all felt like a dream, but the lingering sensation of her lips on mine reminded me it was very real.

The next day, I couldn't focus in any of my classes. My thoughts kept drifting back to Mädchen. By the time her class rolled around, I was a bundle of nerves and excitement. I sat in my usual spot at the front, my eyes following her every move as she lectured. She seemed as composed and confident as ever, but every now and then, our eyes would meet, and I'd catch a glimpse of that same vulnerability from the night before.

After class, I lingered, waiting for the other students to leave. When it was just the two of us, I walked up to her desk, my heart pounding.

"Hey," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Hey," she replied, her smile reassuring.

We didn't need to say much. We both knew what the other was thinking. She motioned for me to sit, and we talked, really talked, about what had happened and what it meant for us. It wasn't going to be easy, but we were willing to figure it out together.

Days turned into weeks, and our bond grew stronger. We found ways to steal moments together—late-night talks in her office, quiet dinners off-campus, and, of course, the occasional kiss when no one was looking. It was exhilarating and a little scary, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

One evening, after another long day, we found ourselves back in that same classroom. The light was dim, casting soft shadows across the room. Mädchen looked at me, her eyes full of love and determination.

"Are you sure about this?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

I nodded, taking her hands in mine. "I've never been more sure of anything."
