I just wanted to quickly tell you why this chapter is placed in Alberta Canada. If you didn't know, I'm from Alberta myself. I wanted to write about a place that I know so that things could be more on point and make more sense. And in this chapter there are some small mentions of drugs, smoking, and drinking. You aren't doing any of them, but don't read it if it makes you uncomfortable.  Enjoy!

The TSA line was long and boring. Winter had insisted on buying you a dress (something that you almost never wore) so that you would fit in better and draw less attention to yourself.

"Please, just put it on." He practically begged.

"No! It's impractical!" You retort.

"Just until we get onto the plane. You can go to the bathroom and change if you need too!"

"No. One gust of wind and its all over." You said with a grim expression.

"Please, Troop. I don't want anyone to recognize us." You sighed and snatched the dress out of Winter's hands.

"Fine. But I'm changing out of it as soon as I can." He nods and you go to the bathroom. After a few minutes you come back out wearing the dress. It's a nice dress that really fits your curves. You felt good in it, even though you normally hated dresses.

"You happy?" You ask Winter as you walk up to him. He turns to look at you, eyes wide.

"You look..."

"Stupid? Weird? Like a whor-"

"Beautiful." He said before you could finish.

"Whatever." You tell him, even though you're blushing profusely. "Have you seen anything?"

"Nope. I think the HYDRA agents had either left, or are checking the other side of the airport."

After many long minutes of sitting around and waiting, you finally reach the TSA. They go through your bags and finally let you through. Once you're through you check your hand-gun. It's disguised in a roll of socks. The machine doesn't pick the metal up because of what it's made out if. You aren't even sure how it works, the Red Room just gave you this gun and told you not to question it.

You and Winter are on the plane now, flying over the ocean. You're excited about Canada. You always are when you go to new places. You ended up staying in your dress. It was surprisingly comfortable and the material was pretty light. Plus, you saw Winter sneaking peaks at you every once and a while.

It was a thirteen hour flight from Bucharest to Toronto, then an extra four hours to Edmonton. It was dark when you finally left the airport. People were walking around you, talking and laughing loudly.

"So where are we going?" You ask Winter.

"Well I was looking into places on the flight. There are a few nice apartments, but they are all super expensive. But-"

"Listen. I... don't... care. Just tell me where it is so we can get a taxi." Winter glared at you but he didn't argue.

"I've decided on this nice small one." He pulled up a picture on his phone. "There's enough room for both of us, it's cheap, and the part of town looks nice."

You nod and hail a taxi. You and Winter get in, and he tells the driver the address of the apartment. As you drive you stare out of the window. Old broken down houses pass you, the occasional tall building beside them. You passed many people. Most of them were smoking or drinking, but you even saw some needles on the ground.

"The apartment isn't in this area, right?" You ask Winter.

"No. It's on the other side of town." You nod and sit in silence until the taxi driver stops at a small apartment building. There are probably only eight apartments in it. Winter pays the driver and helps you carry the bags to the door. He puts a code into a small box on the wall which opens to reveal two keys. He uses one of the keys to open the main doors, then walks over to some steps. You follow him up, climbing about five flights of stairs before he opens a second door with the other key. You walk in and see a decent sized apartment. There is a nice kitchen, a couch with a TV in front of it, a bathroom, and a short hallway leading to a bedroom.

You set your bags down and walk over to the kitchen. "This is actually a pretty decent place." You tell Winter.

"I just didn't want to hear your whining," he mumbles. You roll your eyes and continue to look around the room. "I'm going to the bathroom."

"I don't care." Winter always feels the need to tell you everything that he's doing. You think it must be a habit from HYDRA, but it's still a bit weird.

Hello Alice,

I was just wondering when you'll be back here at work. I don't know how long you need to stay with your baby before you can work again, so please let me know.

You read over the text a few more times before answering back. Because only boring people wouldn't.

You

Hello,

Thank you for messaging me about this. I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I suspect it'll be soon. Probably only another two weeks. I'll keep you posted!

You smile, happy with your message. You of course didn't know this person, but it's been really boring lately with Winter always being so nervous. You understood why, and you are thankful for it, but sometimes it's like neither of you can catch a break. Winter doesn't like doing anything, so you mostly just sit around your apartment and sketch or read. You never do anything even a little bit fun.

"What are you doing?" Winter asks as he walks out of the bathroom. You quickly switch tabs and show him the google page.

I was just about to search up markets around here. Jeez." For some reason you didn't want to tell Winter about the message. But you tell him everything, so what's one little secret?
