"I'm coming mum!" I shouted from my room, sorting out my hair before applying some lipgloss. I looked at myself in the mirror, before picking up my lengha and walking down the stairs.

"Finally." my mum said, whilst my dad tapped the sideboard anxiously.

"I didn't even take THAT long!" I said, whilst my mum shot me a look and my dad laughed.

"Say that to your husband." my mum said, as I stepped into the car. "When you're married, you're husband will count all the minutes you take and will use them against you."

"Mum! That's only IF I get married." I said, as my dad smiled at me.

"Yeah. Who said we're marrying my beautiful daughter off?" my dad said, reversing out of the driveway.

I nodded.

"I totally agree with dad!" I said, whilst my mum face-palmed herself.

"Don't worry mum! If the right person comes along, I might as well marry them." I said, Hamza's smile coming into my mind.

I quickly took out my phone and messaged Maria. I was so excited to see her in her outfit.

ME: we're setting off now, should be there soon

MARIA: THANK YOU!!!! YOU'RE MY LIFE SUPPORT ATM

ME: i'll be there soon, then tell me everything, don't want my guria to be upset on her mendhi.

MARIA: okayy, come fast bby

ME: will do x

After what seemed like hours of waiting, we arrived at the venue. Instead of getting ready at her house, Maria had gotten ready in the halls dressing room, because she wanted to be on time.

I navigated my way through the building, but then came face to face with dimple boy.

He smiled at me. His dimples showing again.
