Its not even focused on the hero, or the villain. This is about a vigilante. This is about the government assigning roles to two families every year. This is the story of Eric Storic. When the government discovers that his role for the story is not in their listings, they dub him an outlaw. now, he runs from everyone, whilst saving others. Will he be able to save himself in time? Will he be able to make the vigilante a real role. Or will he be forever on the run? Is he destined a lonely life? Or will he be able to defeat the government and get rid of the story system.
