SABRINA WALKED THROUGH the doors of renees place and instantly brought light. "milanas interview is up at midnight tonight!" she set her stuff down and ran into milanas arms. shes a bit taller than sabrina so she held her close to her chest.
"what about yours?" renee spoke from the couch, nodding her head towards sabrina. "soon" sabrina shrugged before sitting on the couch, resting her head in selenas lap. selena looked down at sabrina and brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "hello to you too." selena joked while opening her phone and scrolling through her socials
milana sat down next to renee and rested her head on her shoulder. thats what they all valued about their friendship. they could all just sit in silence and that would be enough. renee looked at the time on her phone and then down at milana. "your interview comes out in 2 hours."
"great!" milana spoke sarcastically. she just could just see the articles from a mile away after what she said about dominic. she knew that people were going to go crazy and she was kind of prepared for it. she didn't bother telling her friends though. she wanted to see their reactions.
"what do we do until its out?" sabrina yawned and continued to get more comfortable on selenas lap. the girls just looked at eachother and shrugged. "i have a couple songs on the album to show you guys" milana pulled up her voice memos. sabrina instantly got up and sat up straight. "how was i not aware of this?" sabrinas jaw dropped.
"you were at barrys when i started recording" milana informed her. "ohhhh that makes sense" sabrina laid back down. milana scanned through the files on her phone. she finally picked the three she wanted to show them most. "guilty as sin","rubberband", and "karma".
milana sat on the floor in front of them and sat crisscrossed. "okay this is guilty as sin." she pressed play and let the song run. she quickly paused it. "no questions till the end, got it?" she pointed at all of them as they nodded.
next was "rubberband". milana knew that they were gonna know the song was about oakley. she hesitated before she pressed play. the moment the first verse was heard, selena gasped and covered her mouth with her hand.
last, was "karma". "please don't be like jojo siwa." sabrina cringed. "hey, dont diss the owner of gay pop like that" renee rolled her eyes and flipped her hair. "i promise you it is not." milana pressed play.
the girls knew immediately who the song was about. kylie jenner. her and milana were friends when milana first started singing. she had treated her like shit and was the inspiration behind "we're not alike." and they knew that. "oh shit, milas being messy" sabrina kicked her feet in excitement.
"the guy on the screen?" renee raised an eyebrow. "you've never dated an actor though?" selena looked at milana and then at renee. "oh my god. dominic. he acts, doesn't he?" sabrina got up once again.
milana just looked at all of them and started laughing. "anyways!!" milana tried to switch the subject and turned on the tv. she went on youtube and searched her name. there it was. "milana rieras wired autocomplete interview". mila took a deep breath and clicked on the video before sitting back on the couch.
the video was good for the most part. until that one part. "that man could run me over." milana heard her own voice before burrying her face in her hands. "holy fuck." renee pinched the bridge of her nose while sabrina was laughing and selena was just in shock.
"oh you're so cooked i fear." selena laughed, half joking. sabrina went on instagram and cringed one again. "okay so mila dont freak out but.." ssbrina started. "no dont tell me.." mila shook her head. "famecrave posted about you.." selena added...
