Intro (MORGIE'S POV)

Morgie's POV:

Today is my first school year... And my last one too.

I've been homeschooled my whole life, since the only good school near me was Merlin Academy, but considering the past my mom has with Merlin it wasn't the greatest idea.

Thanks to all of this, my mom decided to teach me at home. She's one of the most powerful sorcerer, so she has enough knowledge to teach me. But she has got bored of it, so to get rid of me for a while she decided it would be a great idea for me to go to Merlin Academy. She didn't really seem to care, to be honest.

I packed my stuff up and left; the Academy wasn't far away from home, so it took me around fifteen minutes to get there.

I finally arrived the Academy, analyzing every person I could see here. Everyone was really weird, they either had their hair dyed with neon colours or they were all dressed with dark colours. There wasn't a balance.

There were a lot of people, but there was a group that caught my attention. They were even weirder than the others: An octopus, a God, a fairy and a pirate; the last one being the weirdest one, since it's normal to see magic creatures here - as a shapeshifter I'm one myself - but I've never seen someone with a hook where their left hand should be.

I looked away when I heard somebody talking throught the speakers. It was Merlin - "Welcome to Merlin Academy! You can start going to your rooms, they're the same as last year. That's all I think... Uhm... Oh yes! If you're new here come to my office where I will give you the key of your room. Please, let it be right now".

I rolled my eyes. This man was my mom's enemy? I sighed and went to his office. I got lost in the way, this place was more like a labyrinth, but I was eventually able to find it.

I opened the door without knocking and Merlin turned around - "Oh, yes, hello, you are... Morgie? Yes, wait, here's your key... Wait, where was it..." - Did he just lose the key? Fuck, what an idiot - "Oh, yes, here, this one. Also this paper has the number of your room".

"Alright, thank you Merlin" - I left the office searching for the way to my room.

I saw the paper that Merlin had given me - "Room sixty, second floor" - I read it to myself. I went to the second floor just like the paper said while I was constantly looking at the room numbers until I found mine. It was just at the end of the corridor.

When I arrived there I saw the door opened. Someone had just arrived there, too: It was that one pirate from before. I checked the paper a few times in case I got wrong, but no, that was my actual room. I got closer, kinda nervous since the guy was a little bit scary, and he noticed my presence and turned around.

"Excuse me, I think we're roommates" - I say to the guy.

"Oh, I certainly won't be opposed to that" - He adds with a chuckle.

"Well, it's not like you have any choice, am I right?" - I answer to this - "By the way, I'm Morgie" - He smiles at me and we shake hands - "Hook".

(Sorry, I know it's short, but I wanted to do the intro in Morgie's perspective first so I had to leave it where the last chapter!)
