S E V E N T E E N

It's almost 7 in evening when i finally wake up. My mouth parts to left a soft gasp when I realise it's been 11 hr straight, I was sleeping. After Jeon left, i decided to take a nap and now it has turned into a fucking deadly slumber. Pushing the duvet aside, I rush towards the washroom to take a quick shower.

I don't even know if maa , papa is going crazy after not being able to reach me. Though, I guess Jeon has already informed Maa about me but still.

I strip Jeon's shirt which I wore last night and stand under the shower. It's peaceful. When the warm water touches my neck, I hiss softly. I touch the place, understand Jeon has left bruises there. My whole body feels an unknown sensation and my stomach twists to made my face flush.

Quickly stopping the shower and wearing the towel, I rush outside in bedroom. I stand before the mirror and my guess of bruises there turns true . My eyes widen, as if i feel Jeon is standing a far, smirking at me for this.

“ Satan! ”

Murmuring, i walk towards the closet. Pick his one of black over sized t-shirt and slip into it. His smell is there in the clothes, I inhale shamelessly.

“ El! Open the door!”

I flinch at sudden bang and scream at the door. Leo! After being with Jeon , I almost forget him being in my damn life. Leo bangs on the door making me flinch badly.

In this mansion, it's jeon's floor. No one single breath isn't allowed to step here except him and me. I used to consider this floor as my safe place but today, I feel the wreck here too.

Clutching the hem of the t-shirt , i Slowly walk towards the door. I wasn't ready to face Leo right now, but I slowly open the door.

Leo pushes the open wide and enters as i scoot back a bit.

“ The fuck you're doing in Kook's room, El? Forget, i am your husband? ”

H... Husband? He's husband?....

My eyes widen as I blink at him, my fingers fidget on the hem of the t-shirt. Leo's eyes scan me upside down before he clenches his jaw, " You're wearing his clothes? ”

I gulp, slowly gather my all courage, " I... I don't wanna talk to you, Leo. "

Leo pauses, So the air is. I gulp when Leo's eyes glim with some emotions, I bet it to be dangerous. Leo steps forward and before I could scoot over I feel my breath chokes on my throat as Leo has grasped my throat.

Leo's eyes bored into me, " You think you got authority? Remember you're brought up in our shelter, your fucking mom dad was fucking themselves in hell when my Dad took care of you. Remember, you ungrateful bitch? ”

His words stab me. My body freezes with every letter he spells. I have never ever realized of me being an outsider in this house for 21 years until , Leo mentions it.

I gasp, my eyes fill with tears that makes my vision blur. Leo's face curls upside in a smirk which reveals the cruelty.

“ The extremely pampered baby got a reality check, Doesn't it? Good thing, though. Now now now, get your pretty body ready, understand? I need to attend a meeting, you're going to be a damn show for my success. Hmmm? ”

My eyes widen at him, he jerks me back before throwing a bag in my face. I open my mouth to say something, protest but Leo interrupts, " See, El. This meeting is important for Jeon industry. It costs millions and I bet, by now you've understand how much grateful you should be towards us? Now, be a good girl and pay us back by the body we raised with our money. Hmm? ”

I gulp, my body freezes and my feet finally feels a vacant place as the soil has slipped out from there. Every words of him, establishes on bitter truth that I am orphan. My fingers clutch the bag tightly.

“ I... If papa or Jeon could know.... ” , my voice shutters when Leo interrupts with a loud laugh.

“ Okay okay. You know, if we don't get the project what will happen? ” , Leo laughs before stepping towards me. His rough hands grasped my jaw, the disgust and despise was clear in his eyes.

“ Our company will face bankrupt. At this age, dad won't be able to accept this much loss and he'll die. Mom will follow him the same. Do you think, Jeon will still keep you like princess if he gets to know you had a chance to save his mom dad but you didn't? ”

Leo's eyes bored into me, I gasp with wide eyes. My spine shivers in fear and panick of loosing Maa, Papa again. And Jeon?.... He won't love me like now... Leo... Leo is right!

“ El, save mom dad. You have been orphan so it doesn't matter to you but I and Kook? We love our parents. Hmm? Let's go, okay? ”

Leo speaks and I blink at him with horror. It doesn't even take a second to me to nod, " Y.. Yes yes! Maa, Papa will be okay...I  ... I am coming in a minute... ”

I feel my hands shiver as I rush into washroom. Slipping out of the black T-shirt, i wear the dress Leo brought for me. The dress was slutty, revealing but I don't care anymore.

It's true that I have been orphan once , lost my mom dad but I can't again. My eyes can't stop dripping the tears as I wear earrings and dark lipstick  so that Leo definitely gets the project.

“ I... I am ready, Leo. Let's go! ” , I rush outside. Leo scans my appearance once again before walk towards me.

“ You're so good, El. But don't cry, okay? They don't like women's tear. Hmm? You'll be good on my show and make sure Mom and Dad is safe, okay? ”

I nod and wipe my tears with the back of my hand. Leo smiles and takes my hand to lead me towards the car. I breath heavily, try not to cry.

Whatever, Leo says is the truth. Papa, Jeon brought me up and... It's my responsibility to make sure that they're safe. I can't be orphan again. Never!

It's been months since I had updated any of my stories. The reason behind being ghosted out of sudden was something crucial. If you guys have time, you can read it otherwise, Next update is coming soon.

I barely have friends here in my real life. To be honest, I can't get people to match my mentality and to be friends for a long time so I do have some knowing classmates to be exact. In college, I had found a girl to be my friend and eventually it turned to be my best friend.

However, when the time passes, specifically in this year, I found something about her. She's all friendly happy with me when we're all alone but when we're around other people , friends, she ignores me , taunts me , mocks me. I never spill anything about it, slowly i was getting into it that she too can't be my friend. But a few months back, i just discovered that I had told her some secrets about my life and she had spread it among friends.

It almost broke me then. I am not like a girl who can let anyone be inside my mind easily but when i am letting, it's serious. Actually. However, It takes few months for me to recover, moreover that i had my exams.

So this was the reason. I know It's not necessary to share these because it happens with almost everyone. But, you know, i also need someone to share my thoughts . The pain i am feeling. However, it's not a sympathy things or something . Just take me as a friend who's sharing her shits because she's depressed.

Best friends are never meant to be best, you know. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

However, updates will be soon. Deadly obsession updates will be there in few days. Moreover that, i have decided to write down a new novella. Apart from mafia romance, it'd rather be an emotional one.

Now, you guys tell me, who should be the male lead? If it's bts or another fictional men just created by me?
