❝W-where do you want to hangout? I... promised you earlier.❞ Her last sentence was like a whisper but I managed to hear it clearly. Honestly, I could tell that she was just forced to say those words because she made a promise earlier, even though I already refused.
She already calmed down after hearing Jay's confession to a girl. Earlier, I just wondered, why. Why is she so in love with Jay even though he'll never like her back? I already know to myself that Jay have someone else he like. And that someone wasn't my sister. A Chinese-Korean girl.
❝I already told you, I don't want to since you're not comfortable with it. Stop forcing yourself, baby. You don't need to pay me back, I convinced our mother on my own.❞ My lips formed into a smile. Even her, she couldn't even look at me straight. After I confessed that I have feelings towards her, she started avoiding me. Started avoiding my gaze and even talked with me with a stuttering voice.
I'm pretty sure that she was just forcing herself to act normal to others. To act like we are still fighting for a small thing like siblings do. I stopped at my tracks when I felt a drip on my shoulder. Looking at the sky, raindrops started to fall one by one. I reached for Seolhee's hand and stopped at the nearby convenience store in our neighborhood.
We went inside to buy an umbrella but there weren't any. I sighed and just sat down on a table and just let my sister walk around inside. As she sat across from me, she had chips and drinks with her. She gave me a can of coke and opened a bag of chips and shared it with me. How sweet of her.
She then gets a notebook and reads her notes like she used to. It was the first time I was treated like this. She usually buys snacks in this convenience store and eats it on her own while studying.
A few minutes later and after we finished eating the snacks, Seolhee decided to go home. It was still raining outside. My sibling was already at the door and ready to pull it but I stopped her. Taking off my blazer and then I wear my bag before I could even follow her. Once we got out, we walked in the rain while covering our heads with my blazer.
She opened the door and went inside our home and rushed to her room just to get change. My blouse was kind of soaked.
❝Mom,❞ I called as I went to find her everywhere, even the office room but she was nowhere to be found. Then I just saw the dinner that she left for us. She also left a note.
' I got a call from my company. I won't be home for days. Your father is going on a business trip tomorrow and I need to accompany him there. I already called your brother Changhee, and he'll be going home since you and Seolhee are all alone. '
As expected. No wonder that our parents keep themselves busy almost everyday. There's always something urgent. My phone was vibrating continuously. Cha Yoona was calling me but I didn't bother to answer. For sure, she wanted me back.
❝Mom wasn't here?❞ Seolhee asked and I just hummed before turning on the television just to watch Netflix. Seolhee sat on the couch, far away from me.
I went to get our dinner and ate it in the living room since mom and dad weren't here.

My eyes were focused on the screen. None of us were talking since we were so focused on the movie. I looked away when there's a kissing scene. This is so awkward, especially because I have a girl beside me.
I went to take a glance at my sister, she was also looking away from the screen. Even her, she felt awkward. Both of us, since we're the opposite gender. My heart was beating so fast. I'm just looking at my sister and didn't do nothing, but admire her.
Then my body moves on its own. Placing my hand on the couch to support my weight while leaning closer to her without her noticing. Once she looked in my direction, her eyes widened and our lips were only an inch before it could even crash together.
Seolhee wasn't even moving. She's even shocked to react to my move. I can't pull away. I couldn't control my body that was moving on its own and tried to attempt to kiss my sister. When someone rang the doorbell, that's where my body stopped.
I stood up and went to the front door to see who it was. Twisting the knob, I was welcomed by my brother who was holding a box of pizza in one hand and the other was gripping in his bag.
❝Where's Seolhee?❞ He immediately asked as he roamed around. Right now, I am kind of disappointed. First of all, I didn't get a chance to be alone with Seolhee and lastly, our brother is here.
I shrugged my shoulders. ❝Use you eyes, dude.❞ I smiled innocently and was about to go back at the living room. Still the movie was playing. Seolhee stood up and was about to leave the living room but I was blocking her way.
❝I'm going to pack my things. Plus, I have to sleep early since I'm joining in the camping.❞ Seolhee told to our brother Changhee. He didn't mind at all and just nodded. But I'm definitely sure she's avoiding me because of what I did earlier.
Seolhee's shoulder bumped into mine and went to climb in the staircase. I turned my body and told, ❝By the way, do you want to know why mom change her mind and allow you to go?❞ I arched a brow and smirked. I folded my arms.
That made her stop from climbing. ❝Because you'll go too? Tsk, I could literally push you to the muds if you even bother me there.❞ She said in an attitude tone and rolled her eyes.
❝Oh yeah, try.❞ I threatened back. I could tell... that she didn't expect my words. Seolhee, I'm not weak. I can hold on to my words. You can't get away from me, baby. Not on my watch.
