The Night Before The Week

Basically, I've been writing things from a lot of different POVs, and if this switches from third person to first, or a typo, or a past tense to present tense switch, or any other sloppy writing mistake I apologize in advance. It's around midnight and I've been writing for hours, so I'm a little groggy :)

"Come on, it's barely even nighttime!"

"We're all tired, Marella!"

"Oh get over it!"

Sophie listens to her friends bicker over whether they should sleep, or stay up and play a game. It is a constant back and forth, people taking sides as if it is a real problem.

"How about we just go to bed, and tomorrow night we can play games?" Sophie suggests, and only a few of them seem to listen to her. Alden and Della are gone for the entire week, leaving a whole 7 day sleepover at Everglen. Tomorrow would be the first night of the "7 day Extravaganza" as Keefe calls it.

"Technically, the week hasn't started yet. Therefore, we don't have to play any fun games until it does," Dex chimes in, following Sophie's other statement. She could practically hear Marella's eye roll from here.

"I second that," Tam states, followed by Sophie.

"Oh come on! Don't be party poopers!" Biana says, a lazy smile spreading across her face. She definitely needs sleep. Biana gets more and more reckless as night wear on, Sophie has noticed from different sleepovers.

"She's right. Just because we're having fun for 7 days doesn't mean we can't have fun before then." Marella says, placing a hand on Biana's shoulder. Sophie rolled her eyes.

"I saw that Sophie," She snaps, and Sophie flashes a wicked smirk in her direction.

"It was intended that way, Marella."

"Gosh, Foster gets grumpy when she's sleep deprived." Keefe comments.

"She's always sleep deprived Hunkyhair," Tam snaps. Sophie wasn't sure how she felt becoming the main topic of conversation between her friends. Keefe walks over to where Sophie stands,  and she's slouched against the wall to keep from collapsing in exhaustion. He places his hands on her shoulders, steering her upstairs.

"Well Foster needs her sleep, so I'm going to take her to the bedroom before she collapses."

Several other of her friends follow, and Sophie starts to sway. Keefe leans in incredibly close, whispering, "Almost there, Foster." She can feel her cheeks get warm. Out of the corner of her eye, she sees him smile. His favorite game is making her blush, after all.

When they make it to the bedroom, Keefe plops her on the bed. It was the softest bed she had ever slept on, though a contributing factor may have been how tired she is. The bed is also extremely beautiful. Purple lilac sheets wrinkle underneath her, and vines of ivy crawl up the plum colored bedposts. It smells like fresh lavender, and Sophie takes a deep breathe, trying to savor the clean scent.

"Why does she get the bed?" It takes Sophie a minute to decipher Marella's voice.

"She deserves it." Another voice comes, male now. Keefe.

She thinks of Keefe and his pretty eyes and pretty face as she slowly drifts into a deep sleep.

Many more part are to come! Sorry for any grammar errors
