Sophie woke up to purple slop covering her face. "What the-"
The sound of high pitched laughter cut her off. All of her friends are gathered on the second bed, clutching their stomachs and wiping tears from laughter. Sophie wipes the goo off of her face, revealing some disgusting smelling purple concoction. She gags, covering her nose and turning her head away, only to find Keefe suffering the same fate as her.
"I hate you guys! I swear to god I'm going to get you back for this!" Keefe's yells only added to their friend's laughter. Tam is laughing so hard he's laying on the ground.
Sophie tosses the goo covered blanket off of her, beelining for the bathroom, specifically, the shower. She looks in the mirror an extra second, and luckily most of the slop is gone. The only hints of purple left are in her hair, and even then she can smell it. She gags again.
Whipping toward her friends, Sophie yells, "What the heck guys!"
"Payback!" Fitz smiles, cheeks flushed from laughter. Everyone looks fairly neat, like they've been awake for hours preparing for this stupid prank. Sophie mumbles a quick, "I hate you" before shutting the door in their faces and stalking toward the shower. Right before she strips off her shirt, the door is slamming back open.
"Foster, you need to help me! They're trying to cover me in another weird goo, and-" Loud pounding on the door cuts him off. Sophie can hear the laughter of their friend's as they knock loudly, yelling things she can't make out.
Sophie scoffs, "This is why we don't do prank wars."
"No, this is why we don't fall asleep during an active prank wars."
She runs to the door and locks it, letting Keefe fall to the ground with a relieved sigh. The banging continues.
"You better not come in here, because I'm taking my clothes off right now and getting in the shower!" Sophie yells, calming the insistent knocking for a few seconds. She can hear the disgusted muttering from here.
Sophie turns back to a smirking Keefe, "Taking your clothes off, huh Foster?"
Her face blushes red, "Shut up, I just needed an excuse so they would stop knocking."
Keefe waves the air in front of his nose, gagging. There is a significant amount of goop in his hair as well. "We do need to shower, though."
"And it doesn't sound like they're going to back away from the door anytime soon." Sophie adds. She sighs, "Ugh, okay. You are going to stay right over there, and do not look anywhere near the shower area. Like nowhere near."
"Hear you loud and clear, Foster." He says, putting his hand above his head in mock defeat.
Sophie glares daggers at him, "I'm serious Keefe."
"So am I."
"Fine. Go to the other side of the bathroom and look at the wall."
"Well, wouldn't you rather I stand guard at the door?"
Sophie gestures to the lock, raising an eyebrow.
"Do you really think that's going to stop Marella and Biana?" Keefe adds with his own raised eyebrow.
"I told them I'm showering."
"Marella and Biana?"
Sophie looks back at all the times Biana has waltzed into her house, with no respect for Sophie's privacy. She mutters her agreement to Keefe's statement.
"Fine, but don't look at the shower."
"Hear you loud and clear."
Sophie hesitantly strips off her clothes and walks into the shower, not daring to look at Keefe. He better not be watching her, or she'll strangle him to death. She closes the curtain behind her, sighing in relief. Partly from the warm water, partly from freedom of Keefe's gaze. She washes her hair about a million times, waiting until she can't smell whatever concoction they poured on her face. She doesn't want to know what it is.
