“What happened?”
“It's been a few weeks.”
“Physician! physician! the baby is even paler than before and does not appear to be breathing anymore!” One of the young lady watching over the baby in the crib screamed in horror.
The physician appear immediately looking distressed. A little later they all gathered around the crib.
“What should we do?”
“Surely the Master will get furious if he knew what happened.” they murmured distressingly.
“Step aside, I'll check her.” The physician ordered the panic servants then calmly proceeded to examine the pale baby, despite his own inner panic.
A moment later.
The door of the room open widely again as several dashing figure appear. “ Greetings, Your Excellencies!” Several maids salute at the same time.
“What happened?” After asking, they all sorrounded the baby.
“Too noisy! too noisy!” Aya's thoughts
Waking up, Aya was confused. As she opened her eyes light covered her sight but she recovered quickly. Feeling drowsy she blinked a few times.
“Huh?” Looking around she seems to be jailed, made in woods? No, Aya cleared her thoughts. It's too extravagant to be jailed in a room full of ornament.
Again, look around. Who's this? A white bearded man, he seems to be explaining something on this this three, a teenager, a man and a lady such a beautiful creatures.
‘Wait, who the f_* are they?”
This people, they wierdedly dress like, like, like they are in traditional era.
‘Wait, why can't i move my hands? I'm suffocating, Chip help! Where are you This jailed seems to be a —a crib!!!’
‘I'm a baby? Holy crap!’
Aya's mind is in a mess. Right, it seems that she also can't hear them.
‘What?!!!’
Another shocked cause her to cry. She's not a crybaby, she never cry in her whole life but she can't control her tears which make her frustrated.
However this simple cry of her shocked everyone in the room. Immediately they all gathered around the crib.
After checking Aya over and over again the physician found nothing unusual which makes him baffled.
Saluting, he said “Reporting to the Masters, this physician found nothing unusual to the young miss body.”
“Unbelivable....”The physician and the house masters discuss back and forth.
The teenager sneaked a peek at Aya, whispered something, and then gently toyed with Aya's hand. While she just looked at him without blinking. Time ticked by.
They the maids the do's and don't before returning to their quarter and making a conclusion to what happened. Leaving Aya to the servants care.
Tired, Aya's mind dozed off. Waking up in the afternoon and letting the servants to change and feed her without them hearing any noise from her. Although this makes them worried but still sing praises to their young miss behavior.
Which Aya ignores since she can't hear them. She can do lip reading, but it will only make the servants shivers if she was caught staring at their lips the whole time their talking.
When the night comes, she fooled the servants into pretending to be in deep a sleep to dismiss them.
Opening her eyes, Aya lifted her arms to observe her tiny fingers. Still in her shocked wits. But given her intelligence, Aya has a wild guessed. The fact is that she got reincarnated as baby with an intact memory of her past life. She doesn't know what does it mean. But what she plans for the future is to live a good life far away from trouble.
While planning her future, a red bird, looks like a parrot suddenly appear.
Surprised, using telepathy she called “Chip!” Aya feels a bit of happiness that Chip came with her although she's not certain when she called Chip earlier.
“Master!” Chip happily chipped.“I thought, I will be seperated with you forever after the explosion. I'm also uncertain when i woke up and saw your baby form, I will have another master but I feel that your breath is familiar, it turns out to be really you. Great, great!” Chip said his thoughts in one go.
Aya nooded to Chip. Chip's feather rustled as he settled besides Aya.
“Where are we, Master? I sense the energy here is different from Earth’s. It’s so abundant.” Chip asked curiously.
“I don't know.” Chip expected this answer from her.
Both of them talked about the possibility of what happened to them. The place where they are and how to gather an information. But since she's still a baby the task of finding information will be given to Chip. And will help when she's old enough. Maybe she can also eavesdrop, if her hearing returns when someone is talking around her.
Ending their conversation with their plan tomorrow morning.
