Being a Vampire's Bride

Living with two undead people

"Looks like you have a visitor,"

a voice echoed near the door.

I immediately turned around and saw a blonde guy smiling sheepishly towards me.

"Who are you!?" this time, I shouted. With all my strength.

He came near me and sat beside me,

"I'm Seth," and reached his hand to me.

"and you are?" he asked me back,

"Ashleigh, Ashleigh Ventura." But just stared at his stretched arm.

"So you're a Ventura huh?" the dark haired boy asked, basically, coldly.

"Does it look like I'm not?" I sarcastically answered him back.

He took his cup and took a sip on it. Before he spoke.

"No" and stared at the window.

If only I am strong enough to fight with this ass. I thought.

I placed my mug on the table before I could throw it towards him.

Silence.....

He continued staring at the window.

"Ms. Ventura?" Seth called out.

I turned around, "Yes? And please just call me Ash." and smiled sweetly at him.

"Can we talk?" he offered.

"Sure," was all I answered.

"I'm so sorry for the way he treats you." he suddenly started the moment we reached the living room.

"Who?" I dumbfoundedly asked.

"Kraven, his name is Kraven Locke." he introduced.

"ahhh, don't mind it," and giggled. "and one more question." I added.

"What is it?" Seth genuinely asked.

"Out from all people in the world, why the Ventura's?" and reached out for my mug. Which he basically handed it out to me.

"Because only the Ventura's can carry our own creature. The Locke's are barely strong. And others can't afford to survive our strength, that only the Ventura's can." and he walked out.

I remained there, silent as ever. Until I fell asleep on the sofa.

I woke up feeling dizzy. Good thing I still have one week left in order to enjoy the rest of my summer.

Someone knocked.

"Who is it?" I shouted and stood up to fix my hair.

"It's me Seth," and he opened the door.

"Yes?" I smiled,

"Breakfast is ready down the dining area." and he left.

Are vampires really like that? Leaving someone behind dumbly. At least I feel like a princess, being served and all.

I walked down and went to the dining area, and saw Kraven on the garden.

Wait, I wondered, how come he didn't burned down to ashed when he is fully in to the sun? Am I watching this right, or am I still sleeping?

My thoughts were cutted when Seth snapped out.

"Ash, Ash are you okay?" he worriedly asked.

"Huh?- I'm p-perfectly fine..." and sat down and started eating my breakfast.

"Well. You actually wondered why Kraven wasn't burned down to ashes when he's exposed to the sun?" and pinched my cheeks.

"Ouch, that hurts a little. Yes I do." and took a sip on my coffee.

"We Locke's won't be burned by the sun." he stood up and continued, "You should get ready," and poured a cup of tea into his tea cup.

"For what?" and chewed my pancakes. And pointed my fork to him.

"Is there any need for some questions?" And he walked outside.

I really don't understand them! Ugh!

I was about to stood up and change when I noticed a small paper on the ground. I picked it up,

This time, I will never let you go.

I don't know form where it come from, but it strucked me. That's so sweet.

I quickly went up to my room and changed.

I wore an orange tank top, white shorts and a pair of peach sandals and tied my hair in a ponytail, I grab my bag and went in the garden.

"I'm ready!" I cheerfully showed up.

Then I noticed someone staring at me... Kraven.

I brightly smiled at him. I expected him to do something unbelievable or something being nice to me, but nothing. He just turned around and said,

"Let's go," coldly.

We started walking since it's sunday, and we are forbidden to use the car during sundays so, we're walking on the way to town, since it's not that far from the mansion.

I noticed some girls staring at Seth and Kraven, and maybe some of them are envy that I have them by my side.

LUCKY ME! I thought.

We got home exhausted from the walk.

 It's already 10 pm and I'm still widely awake in the balcony, when my door opened. I shrieked a little when someone wrapped his arms around my waist.

I turned around and saw Seth.

"S-Seth?" I said, a little bit shaky though.

"I'm sorry to startle you," and he smiled. Never thought that he will also bite my neck.

I clung unto him, and moan a little.

He then pulled out and stared at me. I feel a bit weak so he carried me on my bed.

"Rest now," and he kissed my forehead.

What am I a child? I though again.

And I fell asleep.

What life did I get into? Do I deserve this?
