A Never Ending War

Chapter 18

As silence takes over everyone, you can hear the wind and birds...Yoriichi looked at Lily as she panted slowly "w-why...why can't I hurt her..." he thought as he saw the pain in her eyes.... "you must come with me young demon...and I promised no one dies today..." Lily was lost in thought as Nezuko told her not to listen to him, but something was telling her to go with him "...do you promise?..." Yoriichi nods and holds out a hand towards her as she looks at the ground with shame and walks towards Yoriichi. Suddenly a cold wind was blowing hard on Yoriichi and Lily, Lily didn't create this wind at all...and at that moment someone dashed towards Yoriichi and sliets his head (A/N: he set his head doesn't mean is completely cut off just a bit that's all ) and that was Hakuji-san.

Hakuji:[breaths heavily]
Lily: H-Hakuji?...w-when did...
Hakuji: listen closely sunshine...I don't care if your Upper Moon 1...I don't care you tare me to piaces....no one....touches...Her...and if you do....i'll cut your head off and stare you from lime to lime....if you don't want to get burned alive you should run while you still can...
Yoriichi:...this is your chance to kill me, why stop? [neck regeneration]
Hakuji: your Kokushibo's..... younger brother.....what good will it do if I kill you?....now...get going...
Yoriichi:...*dash away*

Lily:...Hakuji...
Hakuji:......*drops my sword and drops to the ground*
Lily: Hakuji-san! *drops to the ground and holds him in my arms* Hakuji! HAKUJI-SAN!!! *cries*
Tan Jiro:*dash towards Lily and cries*
Nezuko:....*drops to her keens* no...please...no...
Kokushibo:.....eh?!
demons:*apper out of nowhere* let's finish what we left off~
Lily:[growls in anger]*holds Hakuji tightly*
demon1: eh?!
Demon2: what the?!
Douma: did you think you'd get away that easy?~
Nakime: Hakuji-san! Eh?!Lily:.....you did this?.... [veins pop out]
Demons:?! *backs away*
Nakime/Kokushibo: Lily's Aura
Lily: you hurt him....you wounded him....you....*eyes turn red*...DIE...

Suddenly the ground shook and black tentacles stabbed into the demons and they burned to ash...Nezuko, Kokushibo, Nakime and Douma were stunned and didn't know what to say, as for Lily she couldn't control her anger as she growled protecting Hakuji from danger. Nezuko was about to walk up to her when a shadow figure appeared out of nowhere and was standing in front of Lily covering her with a blanket. They were about to take out their swords "Don't I know him... Put them away" They didn't know what to do...but did as told...The shadow figure leans down and pads Lily's head.

Itto: Lily control yourself....for him *looks at Hakuji*
Lily:[breaths heavily] *looks at Hakuji*.....H-Hakuji-san... *eyes back to normal* please....come back...please!!! *put my head on his with tears*
Itto:*put my hand on his heart and heals his wounds* he's fine now Little one....*hugs Lily from the side* rest...
Lily: thank....you...*sleeps*

Itto: do not fear I won't harm you...
Nakiem: b-but you are in the sun?! How?!
Itto: i'm not real...now shall we take Hakuji-san and put him on a futon to rest...
Kokushibo:*carrys Hakuji*
Itto:*carrys Lily and walks with Kokushibo*

Kokushibo: what happen?
Douma: when we were done with our mission we were ambushed by weak demons and they were after Hakuji-san...we both killed as many demons as we could as Hakuji tried to get away, but he refused and attacked them all...
Nakiem: Hakuji was bleeding a lot and was about to drop to the ground when he tents up and dashed away here...
Lily:...I-Itto?....
Itto:*puts my hand on her head*...he'll be fine little one... in fact..his waking up right now...
Hakuji: ugh...*opens my eyes* Lily your still here... I thought they took you away
Lily: you idiot don't push your limit like that again! *cries*
Douma: look what you did Hakuji-san, you made the poor little demon cry!~ *pads Lily's back*
Hakuji: i'll beat the crap out of you if you keep talking... *seats up*
Itto: don't move too much... I may have healed your wounds, but you still need rest to recover your strength...
Hakuji: Itto? So you healed me? Thank you...and i'll keep that in mind
Itto: till next time *bows and disappears*

Douma: Hakuji~ Kokushibo~ you have some explaining to do~ *smile*
Lily:..i-i'll explain everything to you and everyone else in your meeting...
Kokushibo: are you sure young one?
Lily:...it's time they knew.....

And just as promised on the night of the next Hashira's meeting with Lily, Nezuko and Tan Jiro Lily stood with Muzan as everyone stared at her waiting for her to speak. "....a-as you know Kokushibo, Hakuji, Douma and Nakiem saw a shadow figure last night...but Kokushibo and Hakuji saw him before...[sighed]...Itto..." The shadow fugier appeared next to Lily looking at the Hashira.

Itto:*bows* hello little humans...it's glad to finally meet the great Hashira's...[laughs]...what makes you think you can defeat the demon king? Pathetic...
Lily: Itto!.... *kicks his leg* don't say that!
Itto: oooh~ little one is mad~ [laughs]
Lily: shut up!....this is Itto....my...Dark Shadow....b-but h-he won't kill you I promise
Itto: well...not unless you try and hurt my little one...

Lily: Itto...that's enough....just answer their questions, please....and no fighting....
Itto: alright, alright...I would hate to see you cry for a bunch of human hunters....just don't try anything....now...ask me your question...
Nakiem: is it true that you are amused by the sun?~
Itto: [laughs] silly little girl...i'm a Shadow Demon...I'm not real.... sunshine doesn't affect me...
Daki: my what a big mouth you have. Close your mouth demon brat!
Itto: feisty aren't you?... Do becareful who you're speaking to...if I didn't step in Lily would have killed anyone by mistake again if she lost control...

Itto: i've been watching you for hundreds of years...now.... any more questions for me little humans?...
Muzan: no...thank you Itto for coming here and that you're on our side *smile*
Itto: i'm not on anyone's side...the only side i'm on is my little one *pads her head* and....her family.... *looks at both Hakuji-san and Muzan*
Lily: Okay, okay....leave...

Lily: c-can i g-go to bed now M-Mister Kibutsuji?...
Muzan: off course *smile* dismissed everyone, have a goodnight's rest *walks to my room door*

As everyone went back to their rooms sleeping soundly. As for Lily, she woke up holding her legs against her chest, looking at the stars shining bright in the sky. Lily sighed and slowly got up and opened the quietly, taking a walk around the area. What Lily didn't know is that Tan Jiro woke up and followed her with Hakuji and Nezuko cause Hakuji-san noticed Lily leaving and called Nezuko up. They followed Lily to the butterfly garden, lowing herself down and smelling the flowers as Tan Jiro, Nezuko and Hakuji hiding behind the wall. What will happen next?
