Chapter Two

"You've got to be fucking kidding me. She's the DEAN?" Matty asked too loudly, while Shawn and Zayn were doubled over in laughter. They had just met up with Lauren and Kendall at The Middle and Kendall was quick to inform the boys of the wild news.

"Yes! Lauren fucked the woman who is in charge of our school!" Kendall exclaimed, also too loudly. Lauren groaned as she shifted her weight in one of the chairs they had stolen and taken out to their meet up place.

"Guys, could you be any louder?" Lauren asked, covering her face with her hands. "This is already bad enough. I'd rather NOT have hundreds of students from both schools knowing about what happened." At this, Zayn and Shawn started laughing even harder. "I'll kill both of you, by the way." Lauren shot daggers with her eyes at the two boys, almost immediately shutting them up.

"Sorry Lo, this is just the craziest thing I've ever heard." Shawn explained as he up-righted himself in his chair.

"Yeah, and of course it would happen to you of all people." Zayn let out another quiet giggle before calming himself down again. "What are you going to do?" He asked after Lauren stopped glaring at him.

"What am I going to do about what? Killing you? I've got a few ideas..." She started but was cut off by Zayn sighing heavily.

"No, I already know how you want to kill me. You've told me a thousand times. I meant what are you going to do about her being your dean?"

"Oh shit, yeah Lauren. You and I get sent to the Dean so often, I'm surprised we haven't already been in her office by now. Do you think she'll remember you?" Kendall asked, raising an eyebrow in Lauren's direction.

Lauren started to respond, then stopped. They were right. There was no way that Lauren Jauregui was going to get through her senior year of high school without having a few meetings with the Dean. She couldn't hide from Camila forever. Lauren groaned again and unzipped the front zipper of her backpack, pulling out a half empty pack of cigarettes. She quickly lit one and inhaled, then passing the pack to Zayn who was sitting next to her. He and Matty also took out a cigarette and lit up. Lauren took a few more deep breaths before composing her thoughts.

"I've just got to be on my best behavior. No skipping class, no cursing at my teachers, no smoking in my dorm room. I'll be a model citizen. At least that way I'll have a few months before I absolutely have to talk to her during parent weekend. Maybe she'll have forgotten about me by then..." Lauren took another drag off her cigarette and looked around at her four friends quickly before the five of them burst into laughter.

"Oh my god, good one Jauregui." Shawn said between fits of laughter.

"Yeah, Lauren Jauregui not skipping class during her senior year of high school? That's fucking golden." Matty snorted.

"Got any other plans?" Kendall winked at her.

"I mean...I could go with what Zayn said this morning and just make her fall in love with me...Then I could get away with anything." The group of friends started laughing again, but their laughter began to die down as they all really processed what had just been said.

"Do you think we could upgrade our dorms? I don't think it's fair they demoted us to freshman dorms just because we got so many demerits last year. I want my own bathroom." Kendall complained.

"I bet she's good buddies with Dean Sheeran. Maybe the boys and I could get away with some shit too." Shawn explained.

"If you're fucking the Dean, there's no way she wouldn't at least give you extra off campus passes. We could go to town every weekend." Matty said, giving his input.

"Plus I bet she's fucking loaded. If you don't keep her around, maybe I'll hit her up. I've been on the prowl for a sugar mama. Daddy needs a new pair of boots." Zayn winked at Lauren and she smacked his shoulder.
