Niki catches up to Eunchae and Woojin outside the cafeteria. "Eunchae, wait! I really need to talk to you," he says, looking sincere.

Eunchae hesitates, still hurt and confused. "What is it, Niki?"

"I'm sorry," Niki says, his voice genuine. "I know my behavior has been confusing, and I hurt you. I wasn't thinking about your feelings."

Eunchae looks away, trying to process her emotions. "Why did you flirt with Leeseo like that? You know I have feelings for you."

Niki takes a deep breath. "I was trying to distract myself from my true feelings. I care about you, Eunchae, but I was afraid to admit cit."

Woojin discreetly excuses herself, leaving the two alone to talk.

Niki has been hurt in past relationships, leading to a fear of vulnerability and openness. He has built walls around himself to protect his emotions, making it difficult for him to express his true feelings.
