jungwon found himself mesmerised by the ever-changing scenery outside the window as the car glided through the street. the boys of enhypen were currently traveling to a photoshoot for their upcoming album.
he let his gaze drift across the scene, tuning out the soft snores of his dozing members; jake and ni-ki at the backseat. the rest of the group- sunghoon, sunoo, heeseung and jay were traveling in a different car.
jungwon observes the trees as they pass by, and how they sway in the warm breeze. there were flowers blooming everywhere, the sky ablaze in blue, and the sun shining in yellow. he let his mind wander and eventually drifted off to sleep.
it's almost been 4 years since enhypen debuted, and they are currently in making of their new album "romance: untold." their new track "XO (only if you say yes)", is completely different from their previous songs. instead of a dark fantasy of "im a sexy vampire let me suck your blood-" this time, imagine sunshines and rainbows, blush, freckles and pink ribbon - that kind of concept.
so there's no question that enhypen's schedule has been jam-packed in the weeks. endless nights in the dance studio, promotional obligations, interviews, fan-meetings, photoshoots...and more.
"alright, rise and shine boys!" the manager called out.
after an hour's drive they finally arrived at the photoshoot location, which was a huge warehouse. the sleepy duo got off the car first, followed by a tired-looking jungwon. shortly, the rest of the members from the other car arrived. jungwon eyed on his grumpy, hair-messy looking hyung walking towards jungwon.
"i see you slept well, jay-hyung?" jungwon chuckled. jay lazily nodded and groaned, clearly still tired from the car ride as he nuzzled his head onto jungwon's shoulder. although jungwon reacted normally on the outside, it couldn't be said the same for his inner thoughts. because shit, he was practically dying of the hyung's cuteness.
despite knowing him for years, pink hue began to tint on his cheeks.
i mean, how could anyone resist this hyung who was behaving so cute and childish, like a koala clinging on a tree? jungwon mentally slapped himself and managed to keep himself composed. he dragged the half-awake hyung to the warehouse together.
well, there's a reason behind his behaviour.
the atmosphere was lively, with soft pop music playing and the setting decorated according to their concept. there were talking sounds from the directors and producers, and the cosmetic staff was busy touching up the boys hair and makeup, as well as helping with their outfits.
as the singers were instructed to sit on the floor with their backs against the wall for their next photoshoot. a hush fell over the behind the scenes crew. some of the producers and staff couldn't help but watch the young men in awe. once boys, they had blossomed into adults, weathering so much over the years. they were no longer mere idols, but individuals who had grown and transformed before everyone's eyes.
