Jisoo's laughter rang out across the room, a melodic sound that drew the attention of everyone nearby. Her dark hair cascaded over her shoulders, catching the dim light of the bar and shimmering with a lustrous sheen. She was surrounded by your friends, engaging them with her wit and charm. You watched from a distance, feeling a mix of admiration and desire as you saw her ease and grace.
It wasn't the first time you'd felt this way about her. Months ago, during a late-night study session turned impromptu sleepover, you had hooked up. It had been intense and passionate, a whirlwind of sensations that neither of you had spoken about since. The memory of her gasping your name as she clung to you was etched in your mind, replaying at the most inconvenient times. The unspoken tension between you had only grown stronger, the memory of that night simmering beneath the surface.

That night had been electric. After hours of studying, fueled by too much coffee and too little sleep, the two of you had found yourselves sitting close on the couch, the lines between friends and something more blurring. Jisoo had leaned in, her eyes heavy-lidded with exhaustion and something else. You remembered the way her lips had felt against yours, tentative at first, then growing more insistent as the kiss deepened.
Hands had wandered, clothes had been shed, and before you knew it, you were tangled together, lost in each other's touch. The night had been a blur of gasps and whispered names, Jisoo's soft whimpers driving you to the edge. She had been so responsive, so eager to please and be pleased, her body arching into your touch as if she couldn't get enough.
When morning came, an awkward silence had settled over you both. Jisoo had quickly dressed and left with a mumbled excuse about an early class, and since then, she had been distant. She avoided eye contact, kept conversations short, and seemed to always have somewhere else to be when you were around. It hurt, but you couldn't blame her. You hadn't exactly made an effort to talk about it either. The fear of rejection, of ruining the friendship you cherished, had kept you silent.
Tonight, watching her charm your friends, you decided it was time to break the silence. The weight of that unspoken night hung heavily between you, and you knew you couldn't let it continue. You had to know if she felt the same pull, the same longing that had consumed you.
You took a deep breath, gathering your courage. The room felt too warm, the air thick with the mingling scents of perfume and sweat. You straightened your posture, squared your shoulders, and made your way towards her. As you approached, you could see the moment she noticed you; her laughter faltered, eyes darting briefly to meet yours before looking away again.
Reaching her, you didn't hesitate. You stood close enough that your presence was unmistakable, close enough that the scent of her perfume was intoxicating. With a deliberate slowness, you reached out and trailed a finger up her spine, starting at the small of her back and moving upwards. The contact was light, barely there, but it was enough. You felt her shiver under your touch, a small gasp escaping her lips.

Jisoo's laughter ceased entirely. She went completely silent, the conversation around her fading into the background as she turned her head to look at you. Her eyes, dark and deep, locked onto yours, and for a moment, it felt like the world had stopped.
