The silence stretched, heavy with unspoken words. Haseena, despite her inner turmoil, didn’t want to cause any discomfort. She nodded slowly, acknowledging Ammi’s offer, but her eyes remained distant, lost in thought.

Karishma, with a heavy heart but hiding it well, said to Ammi, "Ammi, vaise aap sahi keh rahi ho. Ek din ruk jane se vo bura nahi maanegi," and hugged her from behind. "Ammi, aaj kuch acha banao na. Aapki beti aayi hai," she added in a childish voice.

Anvi joined in, "Haan, Ammi, Karu di sahi keh rahi hai. Kuch acha banao na. Bahut mann kar raha hai."

Haseena couldn't help but chuckle at her own thoughts. 'Maine toh is sadu ka naam Kax19 se Karishma kiya toh ye insaan bani, aur Anvi ne toh isse seedhe Pooja se Poo bana diya. Isiliye ye khadoos pehle se badal gayi hai.'

Karishma whined, "Ammi, dekhiye Haseena ne mujhe sadu aur khadoos bola!"

Ammi pulled Karishma's ear, "Chup nalayak. Agar aaj meri beti ko khichdi khani hai toh khichdi hi banegi." With that, Ammi went to the kitchen. Anvi, still with her mouth open, was a sight to behold.

Haseena had a mischievous smirk as she pulled out a candy from her pocket and, in a second, threw it into Anvi's open mouth, shouting, "Ghus gayi makkhi!"

Anvi snapped back to reality and spat out the candy, screaming. Haseena was laughing like mad at her reaction, while Karishma, who was scrolling through reels, sat down and watched in amusement. Anvi started crying and ran to Ammi to complain about Haseena, sobbing, "Ammi... Dekho is Haseena ne kya kiya... Aaj se isne behan hone ka haq kho diya hai. Aaj se isse didi bulane ko mat kehna... Bahut buri hai ye. Pehle isne khichdi banwayi, ab mere muh mein makkhi daal di."

She sobbed and threw her hands and legs on the floor dramatically as she reached the kitchen. Haseena was thoroughly enjoying the scenario, and Karishma was unable to process what was happening; she had seen mischievous Haseena before, but this version was new to her.

Ammi scolded Anvi, "Aise muh kholi rahegi toh yahi karegi na? Aisi harkatein kiya hi mat kar tu." She gave her a light shove for irritating her in the kitchen. They watched the crying Anvi storm off to her room.
