"Great!" I lied, staring down at the crutches I was using to support my broken ankle.

"Well, it's like they say, breakers gotta break!" Aidan joked.

"Broken leg... I've lost my title." I sat down on a bench outside of the office.

"Title?" Aidan looked confused.

"Yeah, you know. Greg is the artist and the laziest, you are the king of sports, Dylan is the strongest, and I used to be fastest." I informed him quickly.

"Sorry about your leg." Charlie came up from the side. Aidan gave him a dirty look, then got up and

left. Aidan and Charlie hate each other with just about all the hate they have, and it can be annoying.

"Whatever, now I can use them to beat you in, um NOTHING." I roar at him, then lick one of my enlarged canine teeth.

"You can still bite me, freak." Charlie whispers under his breath.

"Good idea." I sneer. I see in his eyes that I wasn't meant to hear that, and I smell fear in his blood. I open my mouth wider and wider, revealing my teeth. Then stop. What's the point of jealousy anyway. If I had a dime for every time Charlie has smacked Aidan for winning, I think I would be rich.

"You stopped?" Charlie looked surprised.

"Well, what am I gonna do? I can eat you, I can't bite you, I can't hurt you, I can't kill you, what do I do?" I stood up my crutches, and started moving the best I could. "Sorry, I have to go to class."

"Since when does Wolf Pire go to class?" Greg stepped in.

"I was about to ask the same thing." Charlie laughed.

"Since he had no other choice." I told them.

"Ugh, Wolf come with me." Greg sighed. I was confused, but followed slowly.

"Later Charlie!" I hollered through the halls. Greg pulls me into a room I haven't seen before.

"Janitors closet. Put your crutches over there and sit down." Greg ordered me. I sighed, still confused, but I did what he said anyway. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a small scroll with strange marks on it.

"What's that?" I ask him.

"Healing scroll. Give me the twisted part of your leg." I again do as he says, but I don't believe that this will do anything. He put the scroll on my leg, and put his hand in the center of the scroll. It began glowing, brighter and brighter, and the marks begin to shine. I closed my eyes, and hiss a little bit, but it ended in a quick moment. "I found that while searching through some of my dad's old scrolls. It's pretty powerful, not like any other scroll I've used. Anyway, you should be able to at least walk without crutches now." He tells me. I always knew Greg was the scroll guy. He had tons of scrolls, even some that could explode, and some that could shoot knives, but never anything like that. I stood up, and left the closet without my crutches. Greg laughed, then disappears behind his destination scroll. I was healed, that called for some celebration. I look out the window of the hallway. A forest, a big one, and a deadly one. I made sure no one was looking, and I jumped out the window, straight through the glass. I looked up, and saw Greg standing on the windowsill with one of his scrolls. I guessed it was the one that let him pass through walls.

"Thanks." I shout, then run into the forest.
