The Yuzuki family has five total siblings with four sons and one daughter.

The Yuzuki's oldest son, Yuzuki Hayato. 23 years old. Occupation: High school teacher.

The Yuzuki's second son, Yuzuki Mikoto. 13 years old. First year in junior high school.

The Yuzuki's third son, Yuzuki Minato. 12 years old. First year in junior high school.

The Yuzuki's fourth son, Yuzuki Gakuto. 6 years old. First grade in elementary school.

And here comes our main character, the Yuzuki's second eldest sibling and the sole daughter of the household, Yuzuki Hanako. 20 years old. Final year in university.

A few years ago, their parents passed away suddenly. Since then, Hayato has taken on the role of family head, embracing the responsibility of caring for his siblings as the eldest child.

The Yuzuki family is currently enjoying their breakfast. The four sons are present in the dining room, but the only daughter of the family is nowhere to be seen.

"Hurry up and eat your breakfast. You're going to be late," Hayato said.

"Where is Hana-nee, Hayato-nii san?" Gakuto inquired.

"I also don't see her in her room," Mikoto added, wondering about his sister's whereabouts.

"Hana-chan said she had to meet her friends for a group project," Hayato informed them.

"She really studies hard," Gakuto remarked in admiration.

"Yeah, she does," they all chuckled in response.

Hanako's POV

Ring...

The alarm sounds, signaling it's already 6 in the morning.

Waking up early is always a struggle. I yawn.

It took me roughly forty minutes to get ready, after which I quietly approached the door of my youngest brother Gakuto's room. Being careful not to disturb his sleep, I tiptoed towards his bed. I spent a minute quietly admiring my little brother as he slept peacefully. I brushed his hair behind his ears and planted a soft kiss on his forehead. I made sure his duvet was properly placed over him before moving to my two younger brothers' room to do the same.

I won't deny it; I do have a brother complex. And who wouldn't, with the cutest younger brothers anyone could wish for? They're simply irresistible. They're like a dose of vitamins in my otherwise hectic and monotonous life. Naturally, I love my older brother too. I doubt I would have come this far without his support and encouragement.

Upon exiting Mikoto and Minato's room, I came across my older brother in the living room, who was drinking water.

"Good morning, Oni-chan," I greeted.

"Morning, Hana-chan. Are you heading to school already?" Hayato inquired.

"Yes, we want to review our group project once more before presenting it today," I explained.

"Well, good luck with that. Would you like me to prepare something for you to eat, Hana-chan?" Hayato offered.

"Thank you, Nii-chan, but I think I'll grab something at the canteen," I replied.

"Alright then, take care."

"I will. See you later, Oni-chan, love you," I said, hurrying away with a blush.

I can hear Hayato chuckling and softly saying I love you too in the background. Yes, I still blush. I'm the kind of person who is shy about expressing my feelings, yet I do it regardless.
