chapter 1: The new manager

Marjories Perspective

I was practically jumping up and down in my seat, today was the day were we would get a brand new manager at the sister nursery, I faced my colleague Autumn and questioned " how are you not jumping in your seat right now we Are getting a brand new colleague" I said with excitement " I am buzzing with excitement" Autumn said with no emotion, I sighed and thought same old Autumn until my thoughts were interrupted by Charlotte knocking on the door with flowers in her hand " Marjorie you just got flowers sent in from the florist" Charlotte Said " there for me who on earth Is sending me flowers " I said with a chuckle until Charlotte pointed a small card hidden in the flowers, i began to read " marjorie i am currently heading over, hope you enjoy the flowers, they are a symbolism of our working relationship in the future I hope, signed the piranha x

After I read it out I noticed that half the flowers are dead but Charlotte must of noticed as she questioned "what's wrong" at this point Autumn looked at me confused too "well if this is supposed to be a symbol of our working relationship then why are half the flowers dead" I said with a pint of sadness until I looked forward at Autumn and noticed that I hadn't heard her talk for AGES "why are you so quiet" I said with a giggle at the end "Marjorie those flowers being dead were no joke it was on purpose" she said confidently " wait Autumn who is she" Charlotte asked "it's not a she" "wait Autumn who is he" I asked until a tall blonde man interrupts "knock knock hello Marjorie, Little sis"  me and chars  jaw dropped, i was generally shocked i didnt realize autumn had any siblings " sorry half the flowers are dead but i prefer them that way" he says with a wince at the end.
