Chapter 3~ like like?

~Alice's POV~
"Here again?" I asked adjusting me beanie as I walked down the stairs
"You love us really" dayl laughed
"Duh" I smiled hugging him.
"Anyone up for FIFA?" Dean asked
"Yeah" all the boys agreed.
"I'll make coffee for everyone" I smiled
"I'll help" dayl smiled
"Thanks"
I noticed josh seemed kind of...... tense
"So..... Opinions on josh?" Dayl asked
"He's great" I lied blushing
"Lies" he smiled "he likes you ya know"
"What? As in friends or.... like like?" I asked
"Like like" dayl smiled. "he told me last night"
"Really?" I asked doing a mini happy dance in my head

I watched Ryan and dean play a game of FIFA and made more coffee for everyone before Josh spoke
"Alice, can we talk?" He asked nervously
"Yeah sure." I said
I followed him out of the room.
"Is there anywhere private? I don't want the boys listening in" josh asked
"My room, I guess" I said heading in that direction

"So... What's the deal with you and dayl?" Josh asked sitting on my window seat.
"He's just a friend...." I trailed off
"Well um..." josh scratched his head nervously "I really like you Alice"
"Josh-" I started
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything-"
"Josh" I tried to stop him speaking
" I didn't want to say anything incase you had a boyfriend already-"
"Josh-" I tried again
"But I just had to say something-"
"JOSH! bloody hell shut up and let me speak" I laughed as he finally shut up and I sat down next to him. "Okay. I like you. I really like you and that's all I have to say. just stop rambling"
"Well would you like to go out with me?"
"I would love to" I smiled
"Tonight at seven?" He asked
"Sure"
"Damn it's hot" I sighed. I pulled off my jumper so my black vest top was the only thing I had. "it's not supposed to be summer yet"
"What's this?" Josh asked taking my arm.
"Nothing" I sighed
"You can tell me" he sighed. he pulled me onto his lap and examining the bruises.
I began to tell him the story I told dayl only yesterday.
"On no. Why would someone do this?" Josh asked still looking at my upper arm.
"Ask him" I sighed
Josh hugged me as we walked downstairs again

"Look who decided to join us again" Ryan said as we walked in.
Dayl smiled and winked at me and I smiled back
"I won Bren at FIFA!" Cian cheered
"Good for you lad" I smiled as I sat down again
"It is good for me!" Cian retorted
"Ooh sassy"

"Bye!" I smiled as I followed the guys towards the door.
"See you later" josh smiled as he hugged me
"Yeah" I smiled.
Now time to get ready....
