Sarah's pov
I woke up at 9:30 the next morning and I never look at my phone when I wake up for personal self care purposes so I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth and hair and put it up in a bun and wash my face. After I finish with all of that I go on my phone and when I do I see a text from an unknown number. Oh god is this Matt?

Me: Good morning:)
Matt: You guys doing anything fun today?
Me: Not that I know of. You guys doing anything?
Matt: Nope. Maybe we should all hang out. You guys could come over here if you want.
Me: I'll make a group chat with all of us so it's easier to make plans!
Matt: Okay!
I run into Zoey's room and tell her that Matt texted me. "Oh my god yes finally. I told you, you were just overthinking" she's says. "Okay well he wants to hang with all of us today at their house and I said I'd make a group chat so I need Chris and Nicks number." I say. "I got you" she says showing me her phone. I make the group chat. "What should I name it?" I ask Zoey. "Ummm how about party animals or something stupid because we all met at the party." she says cringing. "Works for me. Someone can change it if they want."

Me: Okay i'm sorry for the name but that's all we could think of.
Zoey: All I could think of?

Matt: Sweet! Just come whenever after 1.
"You and Matt have to get your alone time tonight so something can happen." Zoey says to me. "I don't think that's necessary. What about you and Chris?" I say. "This is about you and Matt babes. You've literally been crushing on him for like 2 years." "Ya over a screen. It's different when you're a fan and don't actually know them." I say. "Well now you know him. Just get to know him better." she says. "I was planning on it, but I'm taking it slow. I just want to be friends for now and if something happens I won't be mad about it." I say. "If this turns into another Colby situation I think I might flip out." She says making an angry face at me. Before I met Sam and Colby I would watch their videos and I was a huge fan. As one fan does, I had a massive crush on Colby and when we met Kat and she asked if we wanted to meet the boys I freaked out and thought it was my time to shine. We met them and I hung out with Colby all the time and Zoey, Sam, and Kat would try to get us to date all the time but we ended up becoming best friends instead and Zoey is still upset about it to this day. "I wouldn't change mine and Colby's friendship for the world. I'm so glad we didn't listen to you guys." I say laughing. "Me too to be honest. You guys have a great bond." she says. "Thank you. So if it happens with Matt you can't be mad at me." I say. I actually hope it doesn't happen with Matt. He's so cute and nice and he just gets me, but I'm gonna just keep that to myself for now. "I won't be mad but I hope it does. Remember? Twins. House across the road. This is our moment." she says. "I know but don't rush anything with Chris either. Just let it happen." "Don't worry about me." she's says. "I won't. Anyways, do you wanna go get breakfast?" I ask her grabbing my keys. "Is that even a question?" she says running out the door. We get almost to the door to leave when we hear Colby "Hey where you guys going?" he asks. "To get breakfast. Wanna come?" I say. "What restaurant?" "Probably just Mcdonald's. I want a breakfast sandwich." "Oh i'm coming. I need those hot cakes." he says putting his shoes on. We get in the car and drive to Mcdonald's. We go in and order and start to eat our food when my phone buzzes. "Who's texting you?" Colby says. "I don't know let me see." I reply. "If it's Matt I'm gonna freak out." Zoey says. I look at my phone and it is in fact Matt. "Oh god it's Matt." I say looking at them and smiling. "Oh my god what did he say?" Zoey asks.

Matt: Can't wait to hang out with you guys. Specially you😊
I read what he said out loud to the both of them. "Ahhh oh my god stoppp that's so sweet." Zoey says tearing up. "It's not that serious to tear up Zo." I say laughing. "What do I say back?" I ask. "Just say you can't wait either." Colby says.
Matt
Matt: Can't wait to hang out with you guys. Specially you😊
Me: Can't wait to hang out with you too:)
Matt: If you wanna come before 1 you can. I'd like to just hang out with you for a little bit. If not I get it, just thought I'd ask.
Me: Sure! What time?
Matt: Whenever. Just text me before you leave.
Me: Okay! See you soon!
I can't believe he wants to hang out alone with me. I read the texts aloud to Colby and Zoey. "Girl he's so into you." Zoey says. "No he just wants to hang out." I say. "Sarah. We're all hanging out later. He wants just you before all of us get there. He's into you. Take it from a guy." Colby says. "You think?" I ask. "Uh ya. Now we need to go home so you can get ready and go over there." Zoey says picking up the trash on the table. "I agree let's get you home." Colby says helping her. We drive home and I go up to my room. I'm putting on mascara when my door opens. It's Kat. "Hey so I heard Matt wants you to hang out alone before we all get there. How exciting!" she says. "I don't think it's that big of a deal but I am excited." I say. "It really isn't that big of a deal but it's cute he wants to hang out with you so bad." she says. "I know. He's so cute. I just don't want to mess this up. I also don't know if I want to date right now. I'm still so scared." I say as I start to braid my hair. "I know it's scary but you can't let your past get in the way of something that could be so good." she says. "I know. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be like everyone else." I say. "I hope not too. He seems so genuine so I hope he stays that way." she says. "Me too." I say getting up and grabbing my keys. "Well I guess I'm gonna go now." I say taking a deep breath. "Have so much fun. See you later!" she says going back to her room. I go to Zoey's room to say bye. "Bye Zo. I'm leaving." I say waving. "Bye! Have fun!" she says. I walk to my car and text Matt.

Me: Hey I'm about to leave my house. Be there in 15!
Matt: Okay! Be careful. See you soon!
Aww he told me to be careful. How am I supposed to pretend I wanna be just friends for now?
