Practice makes perfect

"Your five minutes late , if you even want a shot at going to the Olympics you need to be here on time!"

" I'm sorry coach De Vinci,  I got side tracked. "

" look I don't  want to drag you down but if you want to win, then every second counts.

"Go do another.... axel

"Coach De Vinci ,I have done an axel three times already !"

"Remember  practice makes perfect !"You  can be dismissed ."

Finally , I have been practicing for three hours already ,and I feel like my legs are going to collapse any second.

"Hey what's up Tyra ."

"What  do you  want Emily? "

"Whoa ,what did I ever do to you?"

"Let's face it, your my sister, so we're not wasting time what do you want."

"Look I know  your practicing for the Olympics, but there's this guy that may or may not need you as a dance partner, and I told him that  you could meet him today."

She said in a rush.

"Please tell me this is some kind of joke , right.

"Sadly it isn't "  Look he really needed  a partner and since you do dance maybe you can help him out.

"Fine but I at least want a name "

"OK his name is Alec"

"Well let's go meet him"

I really hope he's  not  stuck up.

"So you must be Alec,right?"

"Yup your correct ."

"So I my sister said you do dance ice skating (also know as pair skating ) and you need a new partner. "

"Yeah my other partner quit."

"You really liked her, didn't you "

" I actually did he said"

I saw a quick flash of hurt run through his eyes.

"Umm sorry for bringing  up the topic. "

"But I think will be great partners "

"I suppose well, practice starts tomorrow  at 9am sharp."

"Is that  a yes you will be my partner ."

"I guess." 

"See ya later Alec"

"Bye"

"For the last and final time I will not put makeup on for a boy who I don't  even like!"

"Fine, have  it your way Tyra ."

"Fine don't  talk to me but am going to go leave for practice "

If you don't know ,Liz is my best friend  we've  known each other for about 10 years we met in preschool when she wanted to  borrow a crayon . we've been through thick and thin and nothing can separate us from one another. We love each other like a sister.
