"Jay."

Alya spent hours in the corner of the library trying to learn her spells. It was forbidden for her to use her powers in Auradon. But she was so scared of losing control so she always practiced. Alya focused intently on the intricate symbols in her spellbook, her fingers tracing the ancient glyphs.
The library was bathed in a soft, golden light as the afternoon sun filtered through the stained-glass windows, casting a warm glow over the dusty tomes and scrolls that lined the shelves.
Lost in her studies, Alya was startled when a shadow fell across her spellbook. Looking up, she found Jay standing before her, a curious expression on his face.
His dark hair was tousled, a few stray locks falling across his forehead, and his eyes held a spark of interest as he watched Alya with genuine fascination.
"Hey, Alya. Coach said you wanted to show me something?" Jay's voice was warm and inviting, breaking through the silence of the library. Alya closed her spellbook with a soft thud, a faint blush dusting her cheeks at being caught in such a vulnerable moment.
"Uh, yeah. The rule book." Alya replied, gesturing for Jay to take a seat across from her at the wooden table. As Jay sat down across from Alya, grabbed the rule book from her backpack. It was just a small blue book.
"This is the rule book for the tourney game." Alya began, her voice low and mesmerizing.
"It contains the laws and traditions of the game."
Jay leaned in, his gaze fixed on the pages of the book, captivated by the secrets it held. "Why show me this? I know about the rules." Jay rolled his eyes.
"I'm sure, you do. That's why I'm just going to give you this and let you decide rather you want to read it." Alya smiled, sliding the book to him. Jay looked at her surprised before taking the book.
"I see you got a jersey." Ayla stated, causing Jay to stand up.
"You like it?" He asked, striking a pose.
"I love it." Alya smiled at him. Jay smiled at her. He eventually sat back down and opened the rule book. It was silent.
As Jay flipped through the pages of the rule book, Alya couldn't help but study his features. His brow furrowed in concentration, his lips moving silently as he absorbed the information before him. Alya admired the way he took the time to understand the rules. It was a side of Jay that intrigued her, a side that went beyond his confident exterior.
Jay looked up from the book to meet Alya's gaze. His eyes held a newfound spark of determination, a glint that made Alya's heart flutter in a way she couldn't quite explain.
