-Author-Then unsettling skies, the unmatched clouds, the mix-matched colours, none of these fit, but they look beautiful, don't they? The sun setting, horizon looking mesmerizing, and the person looking at it too.
How his sun kissed tan skin looked under the setting sun, just like a dream. A dream that I can never have. But the only thing I can ever wish, is for him to be with me. Never leave my side and just stay.

*click clack, chitter patter*
This noise was common in the ICT household. It was just 8:30 in the morning when Virat was seen making breakfast. Rohit was still in his slumber, snoring, loudly. That pretty much was an alarm itself for the next door roommates, Jasprit and Bhuvi. Jassi(Jasprit) woke up groaning to the noise and stated "Omfg, I don't need any alarm at this rate" Bhuvi who woke up to Jassi whining and groaning, agreed. Indeed Rohit snored loudly. Slowly everyone woke up and the fighting fits already started. Abhishek and Mayank fighting about Vada Pav and Dabeli. Ishan and Shubman, just staring at their best friends fighting. Well it's not like they don't consider each other as their best friend, maybe even something more. But the society? Ha, not until the next birth, maybe not even then, will they ever improve. Judging and side eying was a common job of Aunty's in the balcony sipping tea. The funny thing? People have memes on this, and you expect Ishan and Shubman to ever be together? Well you gotta wait a hundred more years.
They both were already insecure as it is and being in the public eye, didn't make it easy. The comparisons and trolls, that was everyday for them. The management, even stopped coming to tell them about this, well maybe because it was so normal.
Oh, how we have made a simple world that God created into such a mess, that people stopped caring. Hating? Normal? Never thought these both could ever come into one sentence, making sense.
-Ishan-
I was just there, maybe even fading in the background. This world just felt morphing, in the background. Home felt with these guys. ICT. They were just casual people who thought cricket was interesting, who could have even thought that these people would come together and eventually play a big role, in the Indian's heart.
"Ishan?" A voice called out, it was Shubman. The person I met during my U-19 days. "Yeah?" I replied coming out of my dazziness. "What happened? Why do you look so tensed?" Shubman inquired. "Nothing, Shubman. Maybe fatigue got the best of me" Shubman nodded understanding the situation.

Virat came with food and a struggling puppy along side. Oh sorry, did I just say puppy? Well nothing less, really, it was just Kuldeep struggling to help carry the utensils.
Everyone laughed at Kullu's (Kuldeep's) clumsiness. Virat served food and every one ate, some munching loudly, and some clearly getting annoyed by it.
Jassi: Y'all, don't we have holidays for the next 2 weeks?
Harry(Hardik): We do, why?
Jassi: No, I was just thinking, maybe, MAYBE, we could do something fun?
Virat: That sounds good to me, Rohit?
And who was Rohit to say no to Virat, of course he agreed, reluctantly. Remembering that one time Jaddu (Jadeja) took them to Jamnagar.
Rohit: But! We are NOT going to Jamnagar for whatever sake
Jaddu: ROOOOOOOO, COME ON IT WAS FUN
Bhuvi: Yeah fun.. YOU SCARED THE LIVING HELL OUT OF US.
Ishan: I had fun... y'all just scaredy cat's.
Shubman: Oh come on, don't act.
And just like that both Shubman and Ishan engaged into a fight. Ishan telling the whole team about Shubman almost shitting his pants because he was so scared and Shubman's just there getting all red from the embarrassment. Then this one creature called Abhishek couldn't stop his ass from singing "Aha tamatar bade mazedar wah tamatar bade mazedar" (Oh tomato so very good wow tomato so very good, it's a very popular rhyme for the kids in india)
This stirred up the commotion even more in the room. Suddenly Ishan gives an idea.
Ishan: How about we go to Goa?
Goa was enough to have a bunch of of people on his side. Rohit was unsure, since, it's Ishan he can't trust, he knows that both Ishan and Jaddu are of the very same breed. But Virat's doe eyes was something not even the strongest man alive could reject. So he agreed, on one condition.
Rohit: We are going to stay in a hotel no hawelies! (Hwelies typically mean a sort of bungalow)
Ishan: No problem bidu~ (Bidu is a slang word for bro in marathi i guess)
Rohit shook his head in disbelief, most probably thinking 'how did i end up in between these kanjard (Garbage?) People.
Mayank: So when do we leave?
Ishan: Great Question! I don't know either, better ask Roo bahi( bro)
Rohit physically facepalms.
Rohit: Let me check the tickets and I'll let you know. Although this is supposed to be our manager's task.
Shubman: Roo Bhaiyyaaaa, they also deserve a holiday, no?
Looking at Shubman, Rohit gives in and agrees even though he didn't want too. He thinks (Rohit) 'kya kya karna padta hai inlogo ke liye' (What all im supposed to do for these people), 'they practically live for these holidays'
Slowly, dusk approaches. Rohit informs the group, that they have gotten the tickets to Goa for the say after tomorrow, so they better start preparing and packing.
-In Ishman's room-
Shubman: ISHANNN, WHERE IS MY WATCHHHHH?!!
Ishan: HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW, CHECK THE DRAWER?!
Shubman opens the first drawer and see his watch there
Shubman: FOUND IT THANKSSS.
Ishan: Didn't help but WELCOMEEE
They packed, they didn't. It was a huge mess, as if toddlers just came and scattered everything and ran away, one pant was here one shirt was there, as if both Ishan and Shubman just engaged in Mahabharat 2.0.
