"...And that's why, unfortunately, Ms. L/n, we're going to have to expel you from Ketsubutsu Academy." And just like that, your dreams of becoming a hero were crushed.

Thanks to one little accident you may or may not have caused with your quirk, one harmless training session ended up in the destruction of multiple classrooms and, inevitably, your expulsion. "The one time my daughter loses control of her ability, she gets expelled?! This is unacceptable." Of course, your mother would vouch for you, despite you obviously being in the wrong here, even if it was just an accident.

"Me and my team have thought heavily on the matter, and unless you're willing to pay the damages and fines on school property, Y/N won't be able to come back."

"It's ok, n/n; you don't need that school. We'll get you in another  one." Maybe having your mom be called rather than your father wasn't the best choice; she had more of an explosive personality than he did, and in the end, an argument ensued with her and multiple members of the staff.

"Well, thanks to you, I don't think I can go back even if I wanted to." Ketsubutsu Academy was your first choice, obviously because you lived closer, but the only other hero academy that was up to your standards as a hero was UA, but that'd be a pain to get into. "What was that, sweetie?" "Nothing."

A few minutes later, you spotted your father's car pulling up in the empty school parking lot. He was more prone to lecture you, talking your ears off for hours on end after you'd done something remotely wrong, which is why as soon as you saw him, you started preparing yourself for whatever was to come.

You stayed out of school for about two days, though you weren't the type to slack very often, and this was no different; you'd taken the time to train, both in the gym and with your quirk. A part of you wanted to make sure nothing like that 'accident' would happen again.

A knock on your door woke you up at 5:01 am, and despite the darkness outside, your mother woke you up with a suspiciously chipper attitude. "Good morning, sweetheart. I got you a little something." Stretching your arms as you slowly fully awakened caused you to sit up in bed, giving your mom a weird look as you noticed the black bag she held in her hands. "Oh, really?"

When you did finally open the bag, a look of shock came over as you looked back and forth between her and the uniform that was in the bag. "You're serious?" "I am; your father and I were able to pull some strings." A smile never left the woman's face, especially after seeing your reaction to the new uniform. That explains why she'd wake you up so early. "You got me into UA!"

The first thing you did was tackle her into a hug. It wasn't necessarily a dream to go to UA High, but it was the top hero school in the country, and with a.2% chance of getting in, it was nearly impossible to get in late, especially so close to the sports festival that was coming up in just a few days. "Right, I'm giving you 40 minutes to get ready, and then we have to go. I don't want you to be late."
