The Story of Us.

A x Heart x Felt x Apology

The echo of steps rang in Killua's ear as he leaned against the wall. His eyes focused on the door way. His heart pounding in his chest and his hands shaking lightly. "I haven't even seen him yet, why am I so.." He thought to himself. 

He felt something touch his hand and he flinched looking down and over, Alluka, stared back at him with a worried look of her face. "Big brother are you okay?" She asked him holding his hand tightly. Killua smiled back at her and put his hand gently on her head. "I'm fine, don't worry about it okay Alluka, I'm just a little nervous" He reassured the young girl squeezing her hand back. 

She nodded hesitatantly but stile smiled softly back at Killua. "How do you know he's gonna be here?" Alluka asked Killua, as an attempt to make the silver haired boy less tense. "I asked a friend of mine to let him know" He replied honestly with a nod. 

The siblings stood together in silence, the only sound the faint bustle of the city around them. The room was a hotel Killua checked into, he had a few of his friends from the Chimera ant extermination linger around the area to keep Alluka and him safe, using Zetsu so anyone tailing them doesn't know their here.

Alluka hugged Killua from the side. "It's gonna be okay big brother Im sure of it." Alluka said softly to her silver haired brother. "Yeah.. thanks Alluka"

A sudden creaked echod through the area, a dark haired boy with hazel eyes emerged into the room. "Gon.." Killua said looking to him. He took a deep breath and walked over. 

"Hey Killua, it's been a minute" Gon smiled at him weakly, clear a lot waying on his mind, the smiled forced. The boys stared at each other, Alluka behind the backing into the corner of the room and turning around not to disturb the boys.

"Well..?" Killua said to Gon, looking into his eyes, a neutral expression on his face. "Right.." the hazel eyes boy averted his eye contact. "I'll be honest I was reckless that was true Killua.." Gon said hesitantly then inhaled deeply. "But..! I'm not apologizeing to you until you apologize to me" Gon said with a serious experison on his face.  

"Huhh?? What the hell do you mean?!" Killua grabbed his shirt, the build up of emotions from everything he went through begining to bubble over. "I was wrong and what I said to you was terrible but your as bad as me when it comes to things like this!!" Gon grabs the hand Killua was using to hold his shirt. "You always try to sacrifice your self for me, every single time we have to do something dangerous your first thought is let me save myself and you go and die!!" Gon yelled at Killua. "I do--" Killua began to say but Gon interupted him. 

"Like when we got captured by the phantom troupe, you wanted to distract nobunaga so I could escape or on greed island when we played against Razor, who knows what else you've been doing when Im not there to help me, why--!" Gon said to Killua. 

Helt Gons shirt in silence, slowly letting go of it, the silver haired boy looked to the ground. "I just.." he said unable to look at Gon. "I'm sorry--" he paused unable what to say next. 

"He cared. He knew. He didn't want this. How am I so stupid, how didn't I notice" Killua pondered in his head looking to the ground. Gon looked at Killua and put his hand on his shoulder. "Killua..?" He heard Gon say to him. "Huh-?" 

He touched his face, feeling the tears that were lightly trickling down his cheeks. "I um.." Gon said in panic, unsure of what to do next. "Hes crying was I too harsh!?" Gon though to himself. "D-dont get me wrong I can understand why I just don't want you to die your my best friend so" Gons sputtered out. 

"I'm sorry too, for being mean to you, going off and fighting pitou on my own and getting myself in a coma--!" Gon said softening his voice. "Mhm I know.. I just wanted to hear it from you" Killua said through tears then wiped his face. 

Gon looked at Killuas face, truly looking at it. It was clear, he hadnt only cried once today, but many times, the tear marks still there. His check and nose lightly brushed with pink. Despite that he was smiling just a little bit. 

"I really am sorry Killua, for everything" Gon said to him making eye contact. "Yeah, me too." They stood together in silence just staring at each other. "I guess we both are idiots." Killua said to himself.

Then warmth. Killua felt as Gons arms wrapped around him. "Gon..?" Killua said unsure of what to do. "You looked like you needed a hug that's all" he whispered to him. Killua rested his head on Gons shoulder, taking in the moment. 

"I haven't had a chance to say this but, thank you, for everything Killua" the dark haired boy gently said to the boy. His heart skipped a beat. "W-What the hell we're  friends right theres no need to thank me" he stuttered out. "Yeah but still.. thank you"

Killua hugged him tighter. "Mhm.. your welcome Gon.." he felt himself blush just a little bit and his heart rate increased "I really hope, he doesn't notice that.." he thinks to himself. "That's not important--" he thought out loud. 

"Huh what was that?" Gon asked him in confusion. "It's nothing" he said much to quickly. "Huhh I wanna know now!!" Gon said loosening his grip on Killua to look at his face. "I-its nothing I swear" Killua averted his eye contact. "I said it's nothing what's the matter with you!!" 

"But your being weird again--!"

A/N

And because I don't feel like continuing they had a silly argument that resulted in Killua saying it really is nothing, Gon giving up then they left to walk to the world tree. 

(I might do a post world tree time skip if enough ppl read this)
