Prologue

We all know Las Vegas as the city that doesn't sleep, we know it for it's night life and amazing clubs.

We all know Los Angeles for its hot weather, beaches and Hollywood.

We all know New York for its high end stores, city lights and the fall season.

Right?

But what if I told you that not everybody sees these popular cities for their luxuries or destinations.

I see these three cities as hotspots for the people who work in the under word, the people who only come at night, the shadows of these cities.

The Castillos

The big three in the underworld.

First the Castillos, this family consists of the four Castillo brothers, the leader being Blade Castillo, then his three younger brothers; Clay, Zane and Caden.

Blade is an attractive twenty eight year old man and  has held the reputation of the strongest leader in Vegas, not just physically but in power too.

Clay is like the black sheep of the family, he is never spotted and no one really knows much information about him other then his age being twenty four.

Zane and Caden are twins, they are nineteen, known for their flirtatious attitude but Zane is known for his rude attitude but Caden for his humour, they both participate in all the illegal races throughout the country and share the same dazzling looks as their older brother.

Secondly, we have the Kensington mafia.

This mafia is run from the older generation, the Don is Nathaniel Kensington and their Donna is Marie Kensington. They have two children: Elijah who is twenty two and Isla who is twenty.

Last but not least, we have my family.

The Kingstons.

The leader of this mafia is my cousin Blane, he is twenty seven and has been running the mafia for about three years now after his father Damien and his mother Ariana stepped down.

Blane's siblings, Arya and Junior are both eighteen, them two are absolute mayhem when with Ayla.

Ayla is my little sister, our parents: Athena and Greysons youngest child.

Ayla is eighteen too and I'm twenty three, my dad Greyson and Uncle Damien are brothers, which makes me and my sisters cousins with Blane,Arya and Junior.

Then there is also Lilian and Mason. They are family but not by blood.

Mine and Blane's parents have both been friends with Uncle Mason and Aunt Lili since the age of seventeen.

They have two children, Cade and Lyla Romano. Cade is twenty nine and Lyla is twenty two.

Blane and Cade are best friends and have been best friends since birth, I don't even think death can do them two apart.

It's similar with me and Lyla, she is my soulmate in this universe and the next, she just gets me.

Our friendship group would be perfect but Lyla and Blane absolutely hate each others guts.

Me and Cade said to fuck the fury but then two are like two stray cats fighting over the last piece of tuna.

They are more annoying then when Junior and Arya fight.

The high pitched screams.

However, we all live in the same residence.

Well almost.

We have two villas right next to each other, they have one large shared backyard but you have to go through an alley way to get to the other side.

Blane, Cade, Lyla and myself all live in one villa and the six adults and Arya, Junior and Ayla in the other.

They don't need their own villa as they all normally stay in the pool house which is more like a normal house as it's a bit too extravagant to be just a pool house.

I guess this is what money gets you.

Us older kids got our own residence after years of begging and a three million dollar renovation.

Our houses used to be one extra large mansion then it was partitioned.

Since Blane is a mafia boss, he owns a few more residences but all the contracts, paperwork and that sorta stuff is kept in the other house.

So we all throw the parties in our house.
