₲Ɇ₮ Jł₦ӾɆĐ / DEIANIRA JINX was nine years old when she accidentally started a fire. everywhere she went, she could never escape the anger that ticked from the people around her like a timebomb. she never realized it was her fault, that her mood effected everyone around her, that she could control the thoughts and feelings they had if she so wished.
until her father blamed her for getting kicked out of school, something that was only partially her fault. she hated him for it, loathed him for the anger in his eyes, an anger that raged like a wildfire. but the more upset she got, so did he.
the fire spread through the entire apartment building, but luckily, there were no casualties. a few days later, she was found by a satyr and taken to camp half-blood, where she was claimed as a daughter of eris, the goddess of strife and discord.
the campers shut her out after she was claimed, labelling her as bad luck, a jinx, just as her name foretold. she didn't mind it really, the less people she was around, the less opportunity she had to hurt them.
until she's sent to yancy academy for special kids, and she gets percy jackson kicked out for picking a fight with nancy bobofit. the strangest thing was, when he found out it was her fault, he didn't seem to mind.
