Ari POV

The days following our first date were filled with a blend of excitement and nervousness. I found myself frequently thinking about Heeseung, replaying our conversations and the warmth of his smile. Every time my phone buzzed with a message from him, a rush of joy filled my chest.

One morning, as I was getting ready for the day, my phone chimed with a new message. It was Heeseung, asking if I wanted to meet him at the cafe. My heart skipped a beat, and I quickly replied, agreeing to meet him there.

As I walked into the cafe, the familiar scent of coffee and baked goods greeted me. I spotted Heeseung at our usual table by the window, his face lighting up when he saw me. His presence had become a comforting and exciting part of my daily routine.

"Hey, Ari," Heeseung greeted me with a warm smile. "How's your morning been?"

"Hey, Heeseung," I replied, taking a seat across from him. "It's been good, just the usual. How about you?"

"Pretty good," he said. "I've been looking forward to our coffee together."

I felt a blush rise to my cheeks. "Me too. This has become my favorite part of the day."

As we sipped our coffee, our conversation flowed effortlessly. We talked about everything—our families, our childhood memories, and our dreams for the future. It felt like we were peeling back layers, discovering more about each other with every conversation.

Author POV

Heeseung and Ari's frequent coffee dates at the cafe became a cherished routine. They reveled in the simple joy of each other's company, finding solace and excitement in their growing connection. The cafe, with its cozy ambiance and the view of the lake, had become their sanctuary—a place where they could be themselves and share their thoughts and feelings.

One sunny afternoon, after finishing their coffee, Heeseung suggested another walk by the lake. Ari agreed, feeling a flutter of excitement at the thought. They left the cafe, walking side by side towards the serene waters.

The lake shimmered under the afternoon sun, the gentle breeze creating ripples on its surface. As they walked along the path, the conversation continued to flow naturally. They shared stories about their lives before meeting each other, painting a vivid picture of their pasts.

Ari POV

As we walked by the lake, I felt a sense of peace and contentment. Heeseung had a way of making me feel completely at ease, and I cherished these moments together. The conversation was light and easy, but there was an underlying depth to everything we talked about.

"So, do you miss your old town?" Heeseung asked, glancing at me.

"Sometimes," I admitted. "But I feel like moving here was the right decision. I've found a lot of inspiration for my photography, and... I've met some amazing people."

Heeseung smiled. "I'm glad to hear that. I feel the same way. Moving here has been one of the best decisions I've made."

We continued our walk, the path winding through the trees and along the edge of the lake. As we reached a secluded spot, Heeseung stopped and turned to face me, a serious expression on his face.

"Ari, there's something I've been wanting to ask you," he said, his voice earnest.

My heart began to race. "What is it, Heeseung?"

He took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto mine. "I've really enjoyed getting to know you, and I feel a strong connection between us. I was wondering... would you like to be my girlfriend?"

A rush of emotions filled me—joy, excitement, and a deep sense of affection for Heeseung. I smiled, feeling my heart swell with happiness.

"I'd love to be your girlfriend, Heeseung," I replied, my voice filled with sincerity.

Heeseung's face lit up with a brilliant smile, and he stepped closer, taking my hands in his. "I'm so happy to hear that, Ari."

Without thinking, I closed the distance between us, standing on my tiptoes and gently pressing my lips to his. The kiss was soft and tender, filled with the promise of everything to come. Heeseung responded, his arms wrapping around me and pulling me closer.

The world around us seemed to disappear, leaving just the two of us in that moment. The kiss deepened, our connection growing stronger with each passing second. When we finally pulled away, we were both breathless, our foreheads resting against each other.

Author POV

In that moment, standing by the lake with the sun shining down on them, Heeseung and Ari felt a profound sense of connection. Their relationship had taken a significant step forward, and both of them felt the excitement of new possibilities and the joy of finding someone special.

As they continued their walk, now hand in hand, their conversation shifted to their hopes and dreams for the future. They talked about the places they wanted to visit, the things they wanted to achieve, and the adventures they hoped to embark on together.

The lake, with its calm waters and serene surroundings, became the backdrop for this pivotal moment in their relationship. It was a place where they could dream, plan, and look forward to the future together.

Ari POV

As we walked back to the cafe, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement for what lay ahead. Being with Heeseung felt right in a way that I couldn't fully explain, and I was eager to see where our journey would take us.

"Thank you for today, Heeseung," I said, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "I'm really happy."

"Me too, Ari," he replied, his eyes shining with warmth. "This is just the beginning."

As we reached the cafe, we paused for a moment, taking in the view of the lake one last time. It felt like a promise—a promise of more beautiful moments and cherished memories to come.

With a shared smile and a sense of newfound joy, we parted ways, each carrying the warmth of our connection in our hearts. It was a day we would both remember—a day that marked the beginning of a deeper, more meaningful relationship.
